Bissell Little Green Pro-Heat Pet

i have had my green machine for about 2 years now. No problems.
It cleans well . I just cleaned my dads car with the machine. I dont think he had is interior steam cleaned in 4 years. Well i cleaned the interior with
simple green 5 to 1 ratio, and i cansay the interior is very clean.
The tanks are small, but for the price you cannot beat it!

No, this stuff works great and is cheap! $15 a gallon and 2-4oz per gallon is the dilution ratio!

Folex works great and is cheap, $15/gallon. Folex doesn't change the feel of carpet fiber when it dries, leaves no residue or scent, and can be used with or without an extractor. :)

ProHeat - $90 with stain tool and crevice tool

ProHeat Pet- $100 and has the same tools but adds the turbo brush which separately is $24.99.

So, if you buy the pet version for an extra $10 you get the turbo brush. Otherwise they are the same. I will probably gettge pet version because the turbo tool willbe nice to use on my couch.

I just feel this stuff works better than Folex! Folex is certainly a better choice than the Bissell stuff!

-The ProHeat Pet @ 9 amps...nice upgrade from the 3 amp one :)
-Looks as you've made your decision...Let us know how it performs.

Will do.

I will be using it tonight on a Camry. She said they have kids so it will most likely be a good test for it.

after each use, run clean water thru to clean any solution out of heating element and wand.

:iagree::iagree:VERY important tip I also heard from a local dealer. He says many run solution through it, then store it for months. When they next use the machine the heater doesn't work because left-in-system chemicals have gunked up the heater.

Much better chance of long helpful life if you run clean water through after using.

Ok, for those that have the Pet Version. Did it come with the crevice tool? Bissell site shows that it does but one of the reviews I read said that it did not come with it.

i was interested in getting this too! my question is i have access to a rug doctor with the upholstery attachment as well. its free for me to use whenever i want. is the rug doctor w/attachment a better option than the bissell?

The rug doctor is probably better, but it is around $25 or so a day.

My pet version came with the Turbo brush and the standard brush. I would get the unit off ebay as I've seen them new for less than what you pay at the store.

i get to use the rug doctor for free whenever i want. my boss bought one for the office and i have access to it. anyone else have any experience with the rug doctor and the upholstery attachment?
