I actually thought about using a MF too. Well since my 3rd application of HS I think the wet MF towel is the way to go,it does hold product and you can cover more surface. As I said before I am a heavy user type and no problem or streaking what so ever even after ONR. I had a concern about mutng the flake.Thats why I love Banana gloss so much, but HS is perfect looks awesome. For some reason my paint is touchy with certain products and the flake gets muted ( red Mazda speed).
I was also wondering if HW could be used as a no rinse? I may try that next wash.As with all Prima products HS is awesome and is soooooooooo easy to use. I would say just about fool proof. Can't quite tell what the smell is but its very peasant ( sort of fruity ?) I also found spritzing with org Hydro is better than water for me.

HS is an absolute HIT.

Hydro Wax As You Dry?

I've been slowly putting together an order - of more stuff I don't really need - and I'm wondering whether I should skip the Epic and just go for the Hydro seal.

Yes Hydro spray. I think Epic is a really excellent sealant,but Hydro Seal is the ultimate right now. Why not both.
 
To try both, separately? ...Otherwise, it would be putting Epic over the Hydro Seal?

Otherwise, my answer to why not both would be to save on the extreme cost of shipping liquids overseas. Like maybe double the quantity of Hydro seal instead of 16 oz. of Hydro Seal and 16 oz. Epic.
 
Does Hydro Seal layer like does 2 or 3 layers improve gloss and durability.
 
Yes, and like any synthetic, best results are seen with 24 hours between coats.
 
the ag description says it can be layered rite away-is this wrong?can it also be topped with a wax?i am assuming it could be toped with the bannana wax.correct?thanks nick
 
Yes, you can layer it right away with good results. I tend to do two coats on the hood immediately before I even move on to the next section. I just like the way it goes on and feels, so I keep "playing."

Yes, you can top with BG, but I would for sure wait 24 hours.
 
I hydrosealed my entire car yesterday, and I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to streaking, and I can honestly say, if you use hydro - seal as directed in the video...

This stuff is AWESOME...

You can tell there is hydro seal on the car,,, it has a very distinct slickness.

I drove my car for a couple of days ( which is a lot for me ). So last night I decided to was again with ONR. I have 3 coats of HS and the finish was so slick while washing the Drying towel seemed to just glide. The looks are unique actually exactly what I was trying to achieve. Try spritzing with Hydro instead of water. I am going to do another wet MF wipedown the another coat or two. I am definately going to be selling some of my recent purchases as I won't be using them anymore. BTW the Ultima NR is really nice too.
 
Nick, would misting with Hydro instead of water be recommended ?

or would it just be a better bet to follow the original instructions like mentioned ?

(i'm asking this for my own personal curiosity about application. Not to try and disprove someone else's technique)

Yes, using original Hydro is a recommended application technique. I tested with both water and Hydro as a wetting agent. Hydro looks a little different and helps in getting down an even, streak-free coat. However, water works quite well so I didn't want to introduce HS as needing Hydro and possibly create a situation where people felt like they had to buy the entire system for it to work.

sweet, I will use Hydro then. I would rather do that, considering I would want to use distilled water otherwise.

Kinda new guys. Sorry. What do you mean when you say to spritz with Hydro? I know

what "spritz" means but what product is Hydro? Do you mean mean more Hyro Seal?

Just tried hydro-seal and damn, its slick!!

Seconds after application when I was wiping, I could feel the slickness as the mf was gliding effortlessly on it!! I'll try it on a few other panels too!

Application process was really easy ,straightforward and fast! :xyxthumbs:
