I wanted to make sure this one turned out nearly perfect so I spent a lot of time on it. May have gone overboard but I had to.
 
I haven't bought the Surbufs either but they will soon replace all of my yellow pads and I will use them for RIDS.

Is this the SRT-4 you posted on the forums a while back? That car turned out fantastic. Surbufs are on my order list for sure.

I used to use speed 6 as well with the surbufs, until Todd Helme informed me that you want to use nearly the same speed as you would with the MF pads. The surbufs can handle a bit more speed, but not much. Todd said to use between 4 and 5, with 5 being the MAX. I use 4.5, sometimes 5. Speed 6 could be the reason why you got increased micro-marring. If you use too high of a speed, you're flattening the fingers too much. Also, try using a tad bit less pressure. :)

No, this one belongs to ERabbit23. That's why it had to be as close to perfect as possible. He was blown away when it was all said and done which made me feel better. The other SRT-4 belongs to a co-worker that put me in touch with ERabbit. Thanks for the compliment!

I love the surbuffs for quick correction with my Flex 3401! Of course they are not the last polishing step but neither is anything else when you are in the major correction step and want a properly finished vehicle.

I haven't used the mf discs James sent me yet.
 
I just picked up a couple of these and am itching to give them a try.

So much great review work was already done by a bunch of people with more experience than myself so I haven't been in a hurry to do it for the community. I doubt I would add anything of value on that particular product.

On a personal level I haven't made it a priority to try them but I do look forward to it. Just have a few other priorities on new stuff to try as well.

Hey Richard,

I was just reading an article from KB back in 2009 about the surbufs. He said he go the best results at speed 6. Todd said speed 4-5. :dunno:
