Collinite

i only have experience with the 845. did it by hand. the results were amazing to say the least. really popped the color and the protection is insane. i had no issues applying it. a thin coat and buffed right off with a mf.

+1, I also apply by it hand.

Apparently, the product does loosen up over time, going from its original soft paste/gel to a thick liquid. I've noticed this happens to my bottle, especially in the higher temperatures of summer.

So what I've done, is after shaking the liquefied 845 thoroughly, I pour it into a small application bottle with a pump sprayer (that I recently broke), that sprays a thicker liquid (like hair products), and spray it on like a spray wax. I use a standard wax applicator pad to spread the wax, getting a nice thin coat. I read this idea a while ago and it works great, especially on vertical panels.

I'm planning to hit up a beauty or restaurant supply store to see if I can find a pump sprayer I can simply attach to the 845 bottle.

I consistently use 845 and 476. The bottom line, in my experience the 476 DOES last noticeably longer. If applied with a DA the 476 is easy to put on in a thin coat and buffs off as easy as any other liquid wax or sealant I have tried. Putting it on thin by hand is more challenging but could be done.

Both waxes last long though, with the 845 being considerably easier to apply and remove by hand or machine.

What is the cure time for collinite 845 also how long should I wait before applying another coat?

I was about to ask this question as well! I have only put a coat of 845, but now I'm tempted to throw another coat on it.
