Is that the Griot's wash pad? Are you happy with how it releases dirt when you rinse it?

Where do you guys hang dry these? I almost regret getting these now after hearing that. I didnt notice that it said hand wash and hang dry. :(

My garage is so filthy I feel it would get dirty just hanging in their. I also have no place to hang them. ugh

No, that's the sheepskin pad that was reviewed. The Griots microfiber was pad is considerably bigger. It rinses well.

You don't have a bathroom?

Hey Mark, did you machine wash the mit? Looks like it shrunk...

thanks for everyone's honest opinion on these, i think i'll pass on them...

I used one yesterday for an ONR wash

I think I'm in love

didn't notice any shedding with mine though...

You mean my girlfriend. :p

I think she is! hahaha

Opps. Sorry, didn't mean to marry you off like that.

Anyway, back to the thread (sorry for hijacking but couldn't resist). The fact that the hairs come off is a big turn off for me. Anyone else have experience with these or any other sheepskin? The idea seems sound (soft cloth) but if it falls apart then forget it.

Ive so far used mine for about 5 washes and it has shedded everytime. I have no isses with shedding on the paint as the final rinse and dry gets rid of it. But its a little annoying as its all over the grit guard.

are these worth it then? the product review on these are not to great. I'm in need for some good wash mitts and just cause of poor reviews I'm crossed em off my list. I'm shooting for the wookie and carpro mitts along with a boars hair brush .

I would pass on it.

The pros are that its a quality made item, doesn't scratch the paint and well its very soft.

The biggest con? Its small. Doesn't hold enough water + suds to clean off a large panel like area (I'm guessing thats your truck in the avatar, this pad doesn't hold enough to clean off your hood in one dunk).

best pad i have used is adams wash pads. they come in two sizes. currently i have been using griots MF wash pads. no issues. they seem to clean and rinse well.

I would definitely pass on it. I like that I got it on bogo., but I dont think Id buy another due to the shedding. But I do like it though because Im worry free about scratching now.

well I'm only just experimenting with difft wash media now.

That sponge I cut up for ONR washing... pbbbthbt!
Sheepskin washpad... yay!

if nobody seems to like them then maybe they will be going on bogo again real soon.... yay!

If it was a bit bigger it would be one of thee best wash media's out there. But as it stands its just to small.
