Blackfire Wet Diamond and Midnight sun review

Probably this is true, BFWD attracts dust a bit more than other sealants i've tried but MS does reduce it a little. And probably i had the same experience, MS also reduces BFWD Sealant's slickness, doesn't buff as easily as Fuzion/Souveran but still quite easy. As far as final look, i prefer the old batch (#23) compared with the newer one, since it behaves more like souveran and need only little swipe to cover some panels.

You get static from BFWD? I haven't encountered this, please elaborate?

BFWD does create a lot of static, thus attracting a lot of dust.

I always apply midnight sun by hand and have never had trouble removing it, just remember it is a wowo wax, don't let it dwell on the paint.

yea i did notice the BFWD making some static..when I was wiping off my spoiler it was making my hairs on my arm stand up from the static it was making..

Dang....... I usually don't like Mustangs (as I'm a Chevy guy), but your Mustang just makes me . I love it. I just got my BFWD in today. I plan to try it this weekend. Nice review! :props:

I was JUST about to say this...I am not a Mustang fan, let alone a Ford fan at all. But dayum this car looks sweet! The black rims really set it off, and the detail job looks great!

Looks fantastic, but then again your prep is so amazing that anything would look fantastic ;)

A nice job. I've had no issues with Midnight Sun (batch #24)...applying by hand, thin, and do a panel at a time then buff off. I use a spritz of Crystal Mist QD to lube the pad slightly every now and again.

To help maintain the slickness of BFWD, I do use Fuzion to top BFWD. Works just fine.

I have also found Menzerna Powerlock to be very, very similar to BFWD.

great review. I had basically the identical experience. Midnight sun is an easy wax to use. very easy, but NOT as easy as Fuzion. wipeoff is a bit of a pain with it. the towel is grabby and you have to be sure to remove all of the oil's.

Fuzion is hands down the best when it comes to removal. It comes off as easy as it applys.

That Mustang looks stunning in those pics! I really like BF WD MS myself, and find it quite easy to work with!

had the car out yesterday for the first time in like almost 2weeks..it sure looked pretty in the sun :)

I found MS to apply and remove MUCH easier than Fuzion and Souveran. I apply it by hand, maybe that's why I have a different view on how it applies and wipes off.

MS is by far my favorite of the 3 when it comes to ease of use.

Where the heck have you been?

do you apply it by bare hands or just mean no machine..I put mine on by hand as well just with a polishing pal and a 3.5" red CCS pad

Same thing happens on my mustang with gt500 wing only part of the car that it happens on
