This stuff is truly interesting!
It was hot here today and when I opened Tyromania for the first time, it was a liquid mess! It was very runny, and when I pulled out the applicator, half of the product was stuck to it. It got all over my hands, and I had to be very careful not to stain anything. Not a good first impression! I let it sit for awhile in room temp, and it thickened up a bit, but was still very messy! When I washed my hands, it almost felt as if I had a sealant on my hands. My skin repelled water big time and it wasn't easy to wash this stuff off! Good for the tire, bad for me! I emailed Dom and asked him if I can put Tyromania in the refrigerator! Once I salvaged as much of the product from the applicator back into the tub, I applied it as I would any tire dressing and foam applicator. It applied rather evenly. I then let it dry. Let me tell you, when Dodo states it has a natural look, yes, it is NATURAL!!! This is the only tire dressing I've used that DOES NOT have any sheen when the sun hits the narrow ribbing on the whole face of my tire! :dblthumb2: Tyromania darkens the tire(not heavily) and gives it a true "new" look, a fresh look. Very matte! For those who like some sheen, this is NOT the tire dressing for you! I, however, LOVEEEEEEE it(minus the mess it can be).
Here's a couple pics. I'll add more detailed ones soon....
Dodo Juice Tyromania after 1 coat....fully dried.
Tyromania after 2 coats...not fully dried. It dried a bit lighter.
DP Gloss Tire Gel...way too much sheen for me
