NEW formula Optimum Power Clean vs. Griot's Interior Cleaner *PIC*

To everyone, there is no bleaching going on with OPC. I didn't see any color transfer on my towel. Also, Dr. G and Chris re-assured this, that's good enough for me.

Hey Mark, sorry if it came across as busting your b@lls earlier.. Wasn't my intention. I've had my go to arsenal for years in my shop and joined the forum and have been lured in by the hype of $40 cleaners, $100 waxes, boutique this that and the other only to find out it wasn't worth the hype. I went over to another detailers place today in Austin and saw that he had OPC and his words was "it's as good as simple green" .. Whatever that means as I've never used SG but I took his bottle sprayed about 5 times on my dockers and when it dried I could see where the product was sprayed Asa it was dark black anymore... Did it bleach it? Who knows? But something lightened the color!
Our shop does about 5-8 details a day and I look at things from a production perspective and ROI view rather than "what's new and cool"
Any how good look with future reviews and keep it real!

As I say that I don't think I've seen a review in where someone said THIS PRODUCT IS / DOES NOT WHAT IT SAYS ....

I'm planning on buying a 17oz. spray bottle of OPC for my wheels, wheel wells and trim cleaning. I would also want to use as an interior cleaner. Is it ok to spray OPC to a towel or MF cloth then wipe on the dash and interior to avoid overspray?

I don't know what you expected when you joined here. The purpose of forums of this type is to sell product for the sponsor. At least half the members here are hobbyists or people who detail on the side, they are going to have a different perspective/requirements than a production shop. Even in your environment, is Carbrite better than Ardex, or Automagic, or Warners? You could buy them all and not find one much better than the other.

Although there have been some outstanding products that have come out in recent years, it's still more about the process than the product, right?

Yes. You can certainly use it that way.

Well, considering the directions say NOT to let it dry, maybe that was your problem?

Hey Mark,

I think you were the one that turned me on to Optimum Power Clean and you couldn't have been more correct. Optimum Power Clean is an amazing product and at the recommended 3:1 dilution all I can say is IT WORKS!! :props:

Thanks Buddy!

When I joined this Forum I think OPC was one of the first products I bought...I have

been wowed by it ever since!!!

Thank you Mark for this post, I cleaned the leather seats of my neighbors truck and

they thought they looked great!!! I'm sold on this product and will purchase the new

formula when I deplete my old supply!
