What the heck did you go through? A barbed wire fence?!
I saw this video and considered getting this since Acura's paint is really soft and I get alot of rock chips. For you though, I don't know if I would recommend it. Unless you want to take the time out to do it. But from the looks of it, you should probably go ahead and get your insurance to pay to get your bumper repainted.

well if you compound all around there you could probably remove some scuff marks but theres nothing you can do besides paint those deep scratches all the way down to the plastic.
Contact DR Color chip and see if their kit will bond to plastic ( I would think so but worth a call) as that would at least make it all red again and be a huge improvement. Ok just went there for you and Surface Types - Use On Plastic or Rusted Surfaces - Dr. ColorChip: Automotive Paint Chip Repair Systems you can buy this from AutoGeek and get a great kit and make huge improvements.
If you just want to fill in with color, Dr. Colorchip is the way to go. However, with that kind of deep damage, you'll always see where the spots were. I recommend a respray. Buffing won't smooth that out.
Your other option is to try to do it yourself. Remove the bumper cover, sand it down. Several spray cans of primer, matched paint, and clear and you'll have it looking quite close. You'll have to wet sand the primer coats and color coats, but it will be good enough.
You can try some touch-ip paint however it'll look like you used touch-up paint afterwards but it will lesson the severity at a quick glance. Refinishing is your only real option whether you do the work or someone else...
