I purchased an AR North America AR630 a couple weeks ago and I've been thoroughly underwhelmed by the performance. The specs are 1900 psi at 2.1 gpm.

I guess after dropping over $600 on a pressure washer I was hoping to be a little more "wowed" by the pressure and volume of water coming out. Maybe something a little closer to the pressure guns at the local self service car wash. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to rinse a vehicle much faster than my garden hose sprayer.

Any thoughts?

I've been wanting one because our water pressure sucks. I don't want to spend alot on it...does anyone have any suggestions so I don't get something I don't like like Slamman

when buying pressure washers the thing to look at is the gpm. at 2.1 gallons per minuteis not much. I bought one that puts out 4 gpm at 4000 psi and it will suck a soft waterhose flat. It will cut the motar out of bricks, I just have to remember to cut the pressure down for what i using it for. Jonathan

I would call PWD if that's where you got it from. If you're looking for something that will "wow" you then a gas powered one is in order. 3-4000 psi and 3-4 gpm will really impress you.

what did you buy for over $600 and underwhelmed ???. I bought a toro on craigslist for less than $200 and was really impressed

return it you can find a electric with better specs for 1/4 of how much you spent....i really would return it, buy a karcher or look on craigslist and take the money you saved and blow it in the AG store....that sounds like a good plan there

Looks like a great unit to me according to the specs. :dunno:

At 3990 cleaning units, that's pretty impressive.

For that amount of money I would had picked up a DeWalt 3500 psi 3.2 gpm... I might do that next week...
