i have a few suggestions for autogeek. i'm sure some people will agree with my suggestions. my first suggestion is why autogeek does not offer free shipping for orders placed with gift certificates?. my reason for asking this is because some people get say a 20$ gift certificate and paying 7.99 for shipping limits the amount of products they can get as some of the top products are around 19.99 per bottle which isn't expensive for quality products, its just they have to pay for shipping when all they have is 20 dollars it kind of gets the gift recipient down and not so happy. sure there are other great products for cheaper then 19.99. this is just a suggestion i have to make the customers even more happy with autogeek. another suggestion i have is during free shipping blocks, i think all orders should have free shipping (excluding gallon sized products) as the smaller orders are usually cheaper to ship then a bigger order most of the time. reason why i say exclude gallon size is well gallons weigh a lot and autogeek would lose money on those transactions. or maybe autogeek can do half price shipping for orders less then 95$ during the free shipping blocks. i do have to say autogeek is a awesome supplier of products, with great staff, great forum members offering great information. imo autogeek is the best in the business. i know some products can be found cheaper elsewhere but i simply do not care i would still order from autogeek because i know there customer service is top notch! anyways thanks for the great service to the auto detailing industry!

WoooooooW! Really? You want free shipping on a $20 gift card? Are you serious? It's obvious that you don't quite understand what it takes to run a business. Autogeek's customer service is second to none, but somebody has to pay for that. Free shipping on a $20 gift card and Autogeek wouldn't be in business very long. Be thankful that it's one of the few companies that still values customer service. $95 for free shipping is more than reasonable.

:iagree: Plus if that were the case we would all just buy gift cards, :D.

Im with Gene on this one.

You are already getting 20 bucks off with the gift card, why should they ship it free. Just think of it being on a 80% discount or whatever it comes out to be.

That would be like buying a 24.99 item at target with a 25 dollar gift card and expecting to not pay sales tax.

It makes no sense dude.

I'd like free shipping also, but the fact is "There ain't nothin' free"! Autogeek is a great place to do business with because they aren't ripping people off on prices, and their customer service is next to none. They have to make a profit to stay in business, and the 'free' advice we get from Mike Phillips, as well as the professional staff at AG has to be figured in the costs. I'd say it's a damn good deal for what you pay.

Don't take this as a put down, you have a valid point, but anybody that offers free shipping has the costs figured in the price to begin with.

If you do not like paying for shipping ( which at times can be higher than the actual cost) ask your family not to give you Auto Geek gift cards and do not buy from them.

What on God's earth makes you think just because you were given a gift card, that you should get free shipping? Wow, just wow.

Please don't!! Those of us not using gift cards would end up having to pay a higher base price to compensate for the shipping costs on orders paid for with gift cards.

I would gladly pay for actual shipping charges than inflated prices on everything to cover Autogeeks overall shipping costs.

I'm sure I would actually end up paying more for shipping to Texas than I do now!!!

If it's a problem for the OP, use the card for BOGO's, VIP specials, or sales...

Get the biggest bang for your gift card...

:iagree:I think these guys said it best!!!
I would put money on the fact that most of us place $100 or more on orders. That means that a lot of us don’t pay shipping on our orders, which means that AG is footin the bill for shipping. I have never seen a company, like AG, GIVE AWAY so much to their customers…I’m talking free shipping, BOGO’s, GIVE-A-WAY’s, VIP specials. They don’t have to do that at all. BUT…they give back to us customers. Be thankful that AG has a lot of generous opportunities for the customer.

I AGREE!!!

You already got a gift card so you should be thankful and grateful about it. It's like getting a 20% additional discount when you at least meet the $95 free shipping minimum... I guess some people just want EVERYTHING at little to no cost...

shoot...I'll go ahead and take that $20 gift card off your hands and let you know which product I pick up and how it works out LOL!

If a gift card is is the same as cash, then according to you, $20 orders should get free shipping, right?

Haha, I experienced a similar reaction a few days ago. I agree with everyone else that your idea wouldn't work out but it seems some people on these forums are overly sensitive at times.
