I use the Pinnacle Xmt cleaner and conditioner twins. I spray the pad and soak them for a little and they come out great.

An all purpose cleaner, DP PPR, and a GGUPW.

I just used some OPC when cleaning a Hydro-Tech crimson by hand a few minutes ago. Usually I use Snappy-Clean or the DP eqivalent if I'm doing a bunch, or Dawn if I'm just doing one or two like now. The OPC seemed to work well and was easy to rinse out.

EDIT: I just checked the pad in the dryer, and it didn't come 100% clean, but I was using an AIO and I perhaps didn't do a perfect job cleaning it.

I was contemplating mixing up some Dawn in a bucket and soaking my pads in it until I'm done working. Than rinsing them out.

I'm sure the AIO is just harder to clean and get off your pad.

My black lsp pad never comes 100% clean so when I switch sealants I'm probably ordering a new black pad

I spray with opc...then throw them in a bucket of Dawn and water...let soak then massage by hand and rinse well.......set aside to dry.

Mine come very clean this way so they never see the washing machine or dryer.

OPC straight or diluted?
If so than what ratio are you using

On the job i mist with APC and then use it in the pad washer then set in a bucket of water to soak on the way home.

After i get home i'll see how they turned out, if some is left ill mist again (after they dried usually) with APC...then massage the face of the pad and then wash in a bucket of water and a LITTLE laundry soap (liquid). Ring it out real good, then rinse it out so that the water running off doesn't feel slippery anymore and leave em out to dry!

I use opc 3:1 for almost everything,so I just grab that bottle spray a few times rub it in and throw them in my dawn and water mix......

I give them a couple of sprays with Meguiar's Super Degreaser then in a pail of how water and Detailer’s Pro Series Polishing Pad Rejuvenator. I used to use Dawn as a cleaning agent and it does work pretty well but is a pain in the butt to rinse thoroughly..

I wash with a little dish soap, rinse thoroughly and give em a spin on my rotary.

I place in a dish rack to let them dry then store them in ziplock bags open in case there is some moisture in them still.

Compounds clean easy.....M16 not as much....

Yes, noticed that it does take allot of rinsing to get all the suds out when using Dawn.

Ran out of snappy clean. Diggin the OPC 3:1 for this lately. With 2 new gallons from BOGO I can't lose Im the MAN

Like Bobby, I also use Super Degreaser, it seems to work the best for me at getting all the compound/polish/wax out of my pads. Follow that with a good soak, spin and air dry and I'm good to go.

We should all make a sticky thread labeled FAQ since this question comes up about once a week. Would help A LOT of new members going forward.
