That's not nearly as bad as I was thinking. I guess with 1 million pre-orders most people planned on getting them online instead of camping out.

He's up in NY right now and it was one of the "smaller" AT&T stores. You know, the ones that are tucked away and not many people know about :props:

I drove past the Verizon store this morning and saw a few people in there. Not as bad as what I was seeing on the news this morning with people standing in long ash lines at the Apple Store. I think its more of the whole experience with getting it from the Apple Store that people subject themselves to sit in them long lines. ITAINTGONNABEME!!! Its been about 5 years since I've stepped foot in a Verizon Store I always conduct business over the phone.

Yeah I try to do just about everything online if I can...much easier. Apple stores are always jam packed with people...I remember on a weekday morning back in January, there was a ~2 hour wait just to have a phone looked at / replaced. :eek:
 
I just got a FedEx home delivery, but it was something else :awman:

I guess my phone is on the late truck.
 
Woo Hoo! I have it in my hot little hands. First impression - it's heavy, much heavier than the 3G. Now to restore all my settings and apps.

Well, the gimmicky novelty of Siri has started.... we'll see how long until people finally grow tired of it.

Funny Apple claims to be the ones who designed Siri; it was developed by a separate company quite a while ago. They just took it over and hyped it.

I can tell you that when I got my i4 last August, the first thing I did was put CQ on it!!

Love it. Have Sprint and also had activation issues. Siri is great unfortunately right now it seems to be overloaded and down.

Don't be that guy, Charlie.

So my contract is over so I can either pick up a iPhone 4S now or hold onto this POS Droid till iPhone 5's specs get released next year...what to do.

When I was in your situation I paid full price for the iPhone 4, and for the iPhone 4s I was do for an upgrade...
