My wifes aunt bought this car last week and wants me to keep it maintained for her so I talked her into Opti-Coat to make my life easier:xyxthumbs: I planned on just doing an OPC bath, clay and coating it but after getting the car and seeing the swirls the the dealer put in it :bat: I had to break out the DA.:buffing:

After the bath, it got clayed with the Magna sponge. Then I used OPT new Polish II on a LC flatwhite pad. Next, a wipe down with GG pre-wax cleaner before the Opti-Coat. I coated all paint, glass, trim, rims, and door jambs.

Looks great. It's amazing how many dealers offer DISO at no extra charge. Next car I buy, I want it right off the truck before they have a chance to touch it.

looks very nice, what model is that of the camry? it dont look like the base model as it has front and rear lip and side skirts...looks good though. however you have a pet peeve on the car....dealer advertisements!!!!! lol just messing with you. and i hate the way new cars are sold imo if it has over 2 miles on it its a used car in my book, when you buy a new towel at target or walmart has someone already used it to wipe their butt? i think not!. tis how i feel about a new car for some reason. i do not want anyone else's butt imprinting into my seat! reason why i say 2 miles is for removing it on/off truck, moving lot around, bringing it to detail shop, ect ect. dealers should have "test drive" cars cars only used for a test drive then sell them next model year as test drive cars for a reduced price.

I did that with my last two new cars.

It made a huge difference. I didn't need to touch the paint except for washing and waxing
for more than a year.

And don't forget to refuse the "free wash" if you have to take the car in for service. Print up a huge sign in english and spanish and tape it to the steering wheel, the driver's side window, and the passenger side front window saying "DO NOT WASH"
And make sure it say it on the work order also.

Looks great, nice save. Sad such a new car gets that kind of abuse.

Nice job! Also nice to see another G8 that belongs to a detailer! They need to be taken care of!

Thanks guys:xyxthumbs:

It's the SE version, it's gotta different grill, side skirts, sport pedals, etc. Yeah, I can't stand dealer stickers or the licence plate surrounds. when we ordered our Solstice I told them they better not put any stickers on it or wash it:nomore:
