Well done Corey! I love iron x. I used it the other week. I took a picture of it workin on my phone just because I think it looks great. But once again, BEAUTIFUL review like always.
Corey,
You mentioned " iron conversion chemical ". Can u suggest any?
Thanks!
Thank you Trent!!
I bought some at walmart if I recall correctly. I don't remember the name but I will check when I get home and post back here tonight.
Better late than never! It's called Right Stuff Deruster
Corey, have you ever seen what happens with iron x when its a few months after it was used? For instance, I had used it for a few particles on my car a few months ago. They were back a few months later. The paint was sealed with Menzerna Power Lock and then 2 coats of collinite 845. So it almost seems like the particles came back equally bad as they were from the beginning. I'm not sure why to be honest. Any thoughts?
Sounds like you got the right stuff for the job! Thanks, Corey!
is there any difference between the Iron X paste and the Iron X with the sprayer?
I just ordered my first bottle of Iron X - lemon scent after everyone's recommendationsAnyway, they mention not to spray it on brake parts. I understand that you don't want to soak your brakes in this stuff, but some is going to get on the calipers and the rotors (and may some drips on to the pads). Do you think a little overspray is OK or should the brakes be covered?
