Why cant I find an apron???

I went to lowes, no aprons. The closest thing was what looked like burlap waist apron with a big ugly lowes logo. Went to wallyworld, nothing.. closest thing was a tiny apron with no pockets. Went to michaels, same thing as walmart so.....

I went to the fabric store, got a yard of canvas and my GF is gonna sew me a GLORIOUS apron :)

I'm gonna ad a loop of sorts around the shoulder area for the cord on my DA and have some other loops around the belt line area for brushes ect and a few pockets.... should look pretty snazzy, I'll post pics when she finishes lol

No pressure on your GF but looking forward to seeing some pics. :)
 
Hahah, I seen some fleese and thought about it for a half a second...
 
You don't need an apron. I always start my day by rolling around in some compound. It really sets the mood. Beats coffee, haha. :dblthumb2:
 
You were doing so good on AG until you mentioned the Apron Thing :laughing:
 
I thought that AG carried some. I'm sure many of the detail companies carry them.

Should be GREAT for those winter detailing days! I think I am going to steal your idea for my Texas Longhorns Snuggie! LOL

Finished :) forget walmart and lowes ey? shoulder loop for cords with butons. Gotta chop off some strings and its set to go. Fits 3 spray bottles!
 
That's nice. What would be even better if was split like a blacksmith's apron and tide around each leg so the bottles in the pocket don't bounce around as much

Your girlfriend is very crafty. If I were an apron kinda guy I would love that.
 
Wow, she's quick! Looks great too. Very handy to not have to put those little tools down and then try to find them when you need them again. Nice little loop to keep the extension cord off the cars too.
