Finally got my butt chewed by the Mrs...

Well this thread makes me so happy my wife isn't a psycho....she has never said one word about me detailing supplies. Granted I do it for profit most of the time, but I sure don't need a garage full of supplies just to detail customers' cars...

I dunno maybe our relationship is unique, or maybe we are just lucky we don't have huge money issues, but we never really argue about money or what each other buys. I definitely make more money than her, but it doesn't bother me if she goes and buys herself a new purse or something, just like it doesn't bother her when UPS shows up with a giant AG box...lol

Nope, not a unique relationship, but it does seem to be rare.

Same here!

I consider this sort of a hobby and if a box of supplies my wife just tells me UPS just dropped off a box from Autogeek for you.

Oh one other thing I bet of u had a list of stuff ur were going to buy her that was 200+ she wouldnt have 1 problem with it right ;)
 
My girlfriend was commenting on how much I spend on auto products and said that it was becoming an addiction.

I told her that it was the only thing preventing me from becoming a sex addict.

Her next comment was "don't you need an extractor Honey?"

Happy Wife = Happy Life....throw in a pair of shoes or boots every now and then and I am good. Granted one those items cost more than my AG orders combined. hello new Flex or PC.
 
Do like I did. Sent the wife to Fl. for a couple of months. It's like a vacation for us both and she dosen't see the delivery man.
 
My wife and I don't give each other a hard time about money. We have seperate accounts, seperate money and pay bills together. We don't fight about having or not having and she spends hers on what she wants and I don't have to ask for an allowance!!!
She did comment about how much a have purchased as far as product, but not how much I have spent. I asked why have of my side of the closet is filled with her clothes/shoes!!!

Wow!!! My wife just said to me "How much more of this stuff do you need?" I thought I was the only one! LOL!! :buffing:
 
Eh, it's slow, so I'll revive a year-old thread.

Op's post is both sad and funny. I never understood the whole 'happy wife, happy life'. Life's too short for that non-sense. I've been married over 15 years and it's all good.
