VT, do you still like to gamble or do you stay away from the casinos now? If you do, maybe we can plan a trip out to Vegas some time?

Actually, Tundra_10, I've never been a gambler. Too frugal, and I don't get the attraction.
A couple of dollars here, a few dollars there.

Now, the better half is a whole other story. One heck of a poker player and roulette aficonado. IMHO, over time, the house always wins. And, if not, then the money earned above $1199 at any cash-in must be reported ( $63,000 in one particular good year), which usually puts one in a higher tax bracket, meaning more taxes.
Casinos offer a wide variety of entertainment (concerts, shows, exhibits, sporting events, etc.) and have some of the best restaurants for the discerning epicurean

Definition:
1. Intense enough to threaten or cause a stroke

Passerby's marveled and gawked at the detailer as he was having a apoplectic moment after a truck drove by and splashed a big mud puddle onto the car he (she...possibly?) was just putting the finishing touches on.

I was fortunate enough to capture a photo of the detailer in your above example.

(I'm not postive, but I believe it is AGO forum member: DetailChick)

I can't blame her for having an histrionically-inclined, apoplectic moment!!!

:eek:I felt like this yesterday morning when a speeding garbage truck merged on to 495, straight to the third lane, while a trailing mist from rain soaked dumpsters poured from the rear of the vehicle spreading to all north bound travel lanes.

"Nothin's gonna turn us back now,
Straight ahead and on the track now.

Never heard the word impossible.
This time there's no stopping us.

On June 7th, 1955...The $64,000 Question, a quiz game-show, made its television debut,
and set the precedent for other shows like Twenty-One, Question, Challenge, The Big Surprise, and Dotto.

But when evidence of 'game-rigging'...

(such as: certain "favorite-contestants" were receiving and being coached on answers
that were hidden and concealed from other contestants, and the rest of the television-viewing-world, as well)

...was disclosed to be existant on several of the quiz game-show programs; there erupted: The Quiz Show Scandal of 1958.

Most of the big money shows, then, were taken off the air...whether any cheating, malfeasance, or occulation was ever confirmed, or not.
The $64,000 Question? It, too, went the way of the others.

Scurrifunging

Definition: A brisk and thorough cleaning

It is nearly inexplicable for me to relate the Detailer's repulsion
As he began scurrifunging the "soccer-mom's" means of propulsion.
'Twas as if his olfactories were unaware of what they'd befell:
Because his head suddenly jerked-back to avoid the dissmell;
Seemingly...I was witnessing a guillotine-style divulsion!!

Here's hoping everyone has an: 'Ambrosial-Weekend'.

I have witnessed several times since joining AGO, confused and excited newbs who rush to post a thread thinking that somehow they did damage to a customer vehicle. In their excitement to to be relieved of the anguish, many have to be prompted to post a pic of their dilema. When seen by seasoned eyes, the explanation of RIDS, that were being occluded by thousands of swirls, was of extreme relief to the newb; who had to divulse himself from AGO using the iPhone, to divulge this information to the disgruntled customer.
Got confused. Hope this is on point.

Nothing New Under the Sun?

-Whenever new members of detailing forums, such as AGO's, begin their journey down: The path of "right-ousness"...
they will present many inquiries in regards to "vehicle-detailing"...
with wishes/hopes that other, more experienced, longer-established/existing, and respected detailing forum members will:
accommodate, said inquiries, with the answers they are seeking.

-However, there will be, also on occasion, detailing forum members that may appear quite nonaccommodable to these new members 'in need'---Perhaps these certain detailing forum members have attuned themselves to be, as so witnessed, preaccommodated, in being so!!

-But...IMHO...This type of action can only be interpreted as being incongruous, and doesn't well serve the detailing community, in part, or as a whole.

-Afterall, even if it's deemed to be repetitive to some, I honestly do not see what harm can be done to be accused of: reaccommodation...
We've all been in the newbie-shoes at one time or another...Haven't we?!?!

BTW... In your opinion...What is the best wax? :D J/K

Seems like I'm there more times than not recently.
And, not only in my detail shoes, but , in my everyday walk in life.

But one of my character defects is being too accommodating; even to the point of self-neglect.

The answer to the ? of the day is : the thin consistency 'wax' that is known by many to sweat and streak...,yet remains my favorite! J/K.

I think I get the picture now.
Boy, was I way off base.
