Hey Guys, just curious how business is for everyone?!?! Weather is VERY odd this winter here in Tennessee. We were actually doing a one step today on a truck outside and got rained on  - but Im happy to have the rest of the day off too!

So how is everyone holding up?!?!?!?

I don't detail for a living. But I am taking two classes at the local community college. Looking to get back into school. Should be fun.

Yeah man - been crazy..... I detailed the interior of a cop car in like 20 to 30 degree weather, bought hand and feet warmers the next day - and have been wearing short sleeve polos since lol.

Bumpidy Bump Bump - I think this is my first bump ever!:bump2::bump2:

You already know how I've been. We talked recently. I'm staying steady right now. Nothing too crazy till late February or mid March weather permitting, ha.

I can not wait until this spring. Last year was a large jump in my client base due to some wise business decisions I made. I built quite a list of dedicated customers...I assume they will all be back more than once this year!:dblthumb2:

I know exactly what you mean about the rain. Just got done drying off this cts-v before moving it back into the garage to finish it up an the sky's opened up. Heres a pic of me waiting it out in the trailer. Lol. Didnt want to pull it in the garage wet being that he just did the floors for the 2 car garage/man cave.

You have a nice set up man - I will have a man cave one day!

I'm not a professional detailer either, but I was able to wash my truck today due to it being a nice and warm 30degrees.:D This winter has been weird, even for us up north.

It was a touchless wash.

Nice! Wonder how many people came out an thought to themselves, "How on earth did that truck not get snowed on?!?!" LOL

I've been off and on. Not nearly as busy as I'd like to be. But the weather this winter even here in Mass has been great. Last year (when I was operating part time) I basically closed up shop around December. This year I'm still able to operate even now.

The month of December I actually kept pretty busy. This month has slowed down due to we actually got a few small snow storms and had about a week of cold weather.

But for now I'm riding it out until next week...Feb 1st I'm on a plane to Hawaii for 10 days!

Glad your keeping busy!

I'm not too busy but I'm busier than last year. I could use about twice the business to be comfortable. I was comfortable till I checked my bank balance last night and till about 10 minutes ago when I dropped $500 on car insurance for 2 months and then just paid my business insurance... Good times right?

The weather has definitely been awesome this winter! That is unless you like to snowmobile, snowboard, or ski, ha. But for detailers...it's been awesome.

You know what's strange too. I've been hearing lately that a lot of car washes are getting killed because of the nicer weather. People are washing themselves. Apparently these automated car washes thrive during crappy winters.

It makes sense...I just never thought of that because I've never had to, ha. I've got a buddy who owns a car wash and we swapped texts recently. He asked how biz was going, and vice versa. He tells me he's getting KILLED.

Funny how that works. Similar professions...but complete opposite sides of the spectrum, ha.

I have been busier than expected due to the Spring-Winter we have been having. But, like several others have stated, not busy enough to keep me out of the red. Hopefully my potential car show/enthusiast clients start hitting me up soon.:)
