What are your favorite car WASHES?

Agree with you on these as well, Jim. :dblthumb2: There's a good amount of quality shampoos out there.
Indeed there are, Mark! I forgot Wolf's Nano on my list. I dont want glossifiers now that I use nano toppers!

Since I have more Klasse AIO than I will otherwise use in my lifetime, I recently started adding a couple of capfuls to my foam gun well mixed with whatever car wash product I am using. It works very well.

P21S Total Auto Wash
Ultima Paint Guard Plus or Optimum Car Wash
The foam one doesn't matter as much but the CG honeydew foam or whatever it's called is nice. DP extreme foams well too.

and why?

I'm looking for 3 dedicated products.

One product to strip LSP's for clay and polishing.

One product for maintenance washes that does not strip wax and sealants (ONR is omitted)

And One product dedicated to go in a foam gun to make gobs of foam.

What are your favorite auto WASHES?

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash- Great cleaning properties + it will strip LSP
Duraglos 901- Tried and true proven good car wash.
DP Extreme Foam- Thick Suds, Good at loosening road grime
Ultima Paint Guard Wash- I use this on vehicles with coatings ( Opti Coat, C quartz) No Gloss enhancers.

1.Dawn(should only be used to remove wax from car and NOT for maintenance washes lol)

2.Meguiars gold class for maintenance washes(Mitt just slides off paint, leaves great gloss and available OTC)

3.I dont own a foam gun

1Z W99 in foam lance to strip(not a ton of foam but has great cleaning ability when dwelling)
1Z Perls for maintenance washes (my vehicles)
1Z Glanz(Exclusiv here) for maintenance (customer vehicles) very good in foam lance
I never foam for maintenance on my own vehicles but do make up various soap cocktails in the foam gun just to make the neighbors shake their heads LOL

For the money Meguiars Gold Class is hard to beat. I've never noticed much of a difference in the high priced shampoos and Meguiars. Sure some of the expensive ones have a good smell, but I rarely keep my nose that close the the shampoo for it to matter. As for cleaning ability most all of the shampoos are pretty mild. I haven't noticed one being a better cleaner than any of the others. With that said there are some brands that I stay away from from simply because I have no confidence in any of their products. Like they say, "Find something you like and use it alot."

Stripping Wax: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss
Maintenance Wash: Chemical Guys Glossworkz (oh my GOD this stuff works SO well its ridiculous)
Foam Gun: Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam (foams like mad as well; can be used as maintenance since it's not wax-stripping strong, but glossworkz really does give SUCH a nice slick surface, as though I've just waxed it)
