The pictures and the work looked very good...i wish you would have went into a bit more 'detail' as to what pads/products/polishers you used...what process exactly was used...how many passes etc...maybe dive a bit deeper into the story? The work was great...I sure hope you guys got paid for all that time!

Amazing work, would it be hard to let me know what pads and polished combos you used?? My truck is almost as bad as that.... What can you do when your friend gets stuck in the desert.. The area was meant for jeeps not full size trucks..:(.

Wtf did this guy drive that car through a dam sand storm !

As this was a tag-team detail I'll leave it to Bob if he'd like to share the product info.

Holy cow! That is amazing!

I love your take on the 50/50 pics. I think doing the diamond shows off the change much better than half and half. Great work!

I agree that this turn around was a work of passion. But, I got a question that only a newb would ask.

Why post the hours spent on any detail... since time spent is subjective anyway??? The way that I see it is 130 man hours. Not 130 hours.

How is time (a measurable increment) subjective? We logged the hours as the clients pay per hour. There were 130 hours put into this detail.

Wow!! That is friggin awesome!! I would be tempted to tell the owner not to drive it at all! Haha j/k great work guys!!

Everybody has their own opinion. I've been around, and associated with, people from all walks of life. Detailing is what I enjoy, but it is not what I do.
That which I specialize in is human behavior. And in my warped way of thinking, you confirmed my hypothesis.
I'm delighted when one reaches the pinnacle of one's profession.

Now, with all this said, I see posting of unusually long hours as one's way of seeking laurels from one's peers. But who am I? A low level local government consultant on a detailing forum.

Kudos to you brother for your success, and thank you for posting this turn around.

My thanks to everyone for the kind words :)

So do you guys have a shop you did this at or was it all done mobile?

I was also wondering if it was all DA work (thats all i saw in the pics) or did you do rotary work as well....was the jeweling done with DA?

The owner of that shop who is in some of the pictures is notoriously closed-mouthed about...er....the details of his details.
