I've noticed mixed reviews regarding Spraymaster spray bottles and am thinking twice about purchasing them. What alternatives are recommended?

Dear Shakabruddah

Try the Kwazar spray bottles. I have some and they're the best I've ever used.

Hallelujah! Kwazar's are SO damn good it's ridiculous. Their spray patterns are top knotch, and can perfectly atomize the spray if you want to; it's something I've never seen in a trigger spray.

The dual-action mechanism is superb, although unnecessary at times. Personally, because of how expensive they are, I only have 3; 1 for waterless wash, 1 for QD, and the other for chemical guy hybrid v7 (QD/sealant hybrid). Spray waxes, glass cleaners, etc. are unnecessary as you only generally need to spray like, 2-3 sprays per panel anyways.

i get my bottles from a local detailing supply truck, a company called Clean Chem in southwest NJ. they end up being a couple bucks per bottle w/ sprayer.

they are very very durable and the sprayers are FANTASTIC. and...something that can be very important - they are chemical resistant. a lot of the volume detailers use varying dilutions of acids and stuff and these sprayers hold up to that. they are Tolco sprayers.

i'd imagine if you went to a local high volume detailer and asked if you can stop over next time their supply truck comes by you can probably buy bottles and sprayers from the truck.

I hate the HD bottles, they are complete junk. You get about 7 pumps if you are pumping real fast and then the sprayer goes out. You then have to wait a minute or two till you can use it again. I just bought the spraymaster bottle last week and so far so good. I put acid cleaner in it to test. One thing is, they spray a lot out and use more product.(You just don't have to spray as much.

that's a lot of money for some bottles..

yep, it's ridiculous! i have absolutely ZERO possible complaints or issues with the bottles i described previously and they apparently cost a fraction of the cost of the expensive bottles.

I also have 3.

ONR solution in QD strength. It has so many uses and is so cheap to make!

APC

25% IPA

If i was to do it again, I would probably go with the pressure sprayer bottles. A couple of pumps and you are good to go for a while. But they take up a lot more space!

I have only Kwazar bottles. They are the best and I pay only little over 2$ for each bottle :awesome::awesome::awesome:

Im sorry but the day I spend $17 on a plastic spray bottle...

I find that using a basic spray bottle with a decent sprayer gets the job done just fine for me. I use the meguiars ones.

Dear Timmy & Friends

The bottle is nothing out of the ordinary. It's the sprayer, and it's worth US$17 to me, but probably because I never tried the Home Depot or SprayMaster sprayers.

I just reuse my old bottles. Why buy brand new ones? It's a "green thing".

I have these bottles and they are cheap IMHO. Some issues are: the spray volume is too low for detailing(too many pumps to apply most products) and over times the sprayers die when exposed to different chemicals. Anyone hear of Zep? They make cleaning products, and I like there bottles, I think they cost $3.99 at HD.
