Do you use 2 grit guards?

Since most of my car washes are usually rinseless and rarely traditional i put a grid guard in each bucket.

I used to use a grit guard in my wash bucket. But I felt like I was wasting soap that settles on the bottom.

I stopped using it and my wash is always clean. So I dunno.

I don't see much advantage of using a grit guard in the wash bucket. I just put it in the rinse bucket.

If I do the tires last, I just remove the grit guard and continue washing to use the soap.

I had two and now only use one in the rinse. I don't use wash a mitt. They seem to just hold the dirt and it takes forever to try and get them clean when rinsing. Need a grit guard designed to attach to the side of the bucket so you can access it easier. I was thinking about modifying a paint tray

using two GG's (in one bucket) is a waste IMO, and you have to keep more water in the bucket as well. one is enough...
