I had a customer with a 6 month old Kona Blue Mustang and he wanted the "Dealer Installed Swirl Option" and some other defects removed. He also wanted a durable sealant applied that would list him through the summer. I chose my new favorite for that one...RejeX

Products used:
  • Pinnacle XMT Gel Shampoo
  • Mother's Clay Bar
  • Meguiar's 105
  • Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
  • RejeX
  • Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel

The car as it was brought to me. It was fairly clean and well taken care of

Look right below the light and you will see some of the DISO

More DISO and a few water spots

This is shot of some DISO on the trunk lid

He used to have the black door edge guards on the car but removed a couple months ago. They left a line where the guard stopped

After hitting it with Meg's 105, the line down the door was gone!

I just thought the way the light was reflecting under the door handle looked cool! :xyxthumbs:

All clean and RejeX-ed

The RejeX really creates deep reflections and a nice wet look!

Thanks for looking! :dblthumb2:

Amazing how well 105 turned out. Wonder if PF4500 after 105 would make it pop even more? Still a great turnout.

Do you mean SF4500? If so I never really thought about using it after 105. I'll have to try it out

Love the name you came up for your company but maybe you should incorporate an actual Willy's in your avatar, like a black one with flames and straight axle, just a thought! (I love those cars!!!)

BTW, that blue looks so much "blue-er"!!!

That car looks amazing! Rejex seems to be an overlooked product.

Ha, I like how dealers will give you the DISO for free, but charge for other options.

The car looks great for sure but I have to wonder if the imperfections are actually removed or simply filled and covered up. The only reason I am bringing this up is because you said the customer wanted the disco's removed. In your post you only mention using the 105 on the door edge so I have to assume you used the Pinnacle and Rejex on the rest of the car. If that is the case then they may very well come back once those have worn off.

Tech Note: Paintwork Cleansing Lotion will not remove paint or clear coat finishes. Likewise, it will not remove swirls. It makes swirls less noticeable or invisible by rounding over the top edge of the swirl, robbing sunlight of a sharp edge to cause a reflection. Micro-fine fillers (1.4 micron) in the lotion then fill in the swirl. When you wax over these fillers, most swirls will disappear. These swirls may re-appear as the wax ages and may be revealed under some light conditions (Fluorescent lamps are ruthless, revealing flaws and swirls that will not show under normal sunlight.).

Trust me they're gone. I always do an ipa wipe down after I do the first section and test under different lighting conditions (sun fluorescent lights etc). And the reason I use the pinnacle is because it creates the best surface for putting the rejex down

I misread this the first time. I used 105 on the whole car not just the door
