A gorgeous example of pure American muscle.......:props:

Ford did an outstanding job on the design of that mustang. Truly magnificent engineering.

Congrats on the awards!!!

Being in the top 50 2nd in class had to make you feel real good.

The car looks awsome by the way!

Beautiful car! Congrats on the awards.

Awesome! The car looks great!

Any pics of the other participants?

Fantastic! I wanted to make it up to Carlisle this weekend, but couldn't find the time to make the drive.

Beautiful car. I love the Hugger Blue color! Congratulations on winning. Excellent job. I live in Colorado, way to far to go for the Ford nationals. Would love to show off my 1998 Atlantic Blue Cobra there sometime. I bet there aren't to many of those there! I have a ton of trophy's and plaques from different car shows where I have either won or placed.

Amazing thread! I've been a Mustang fanatic since before puberty, AWESOME. I'm still building mine, inch by inch. It's a full Eleanor design, blown and intercooled. What's your RWHP, MUCH RESPECT, take care.

From the sig pic your stang looks sweet! I make 540 to the wheels.

I'm liking it!

I love the painted radiator cover and tower strut brace, with a white stripes no less!

That's gotta FLY! Well done man, I also like and appreciate the Ultima Paint Guard Plus recommendation on applying two coats on top of each other back to back one hour apart. Why do you wait the hour? Are you really able to tell a difference after the UPGP cures overnight?

I have a brand new bottle that came in the mail last week, looking forward to it... however... I'm getting some paint work done this month, and don't believe I can use ANYTHING that prevents the breathing of the paint for the chemical curing process, so it'll only be Ultima Waterless Wash+ and Spray Detailers for me (which, off subject, but products like Meg's Spray Synthetic Detailer contain polymers, and it even says it achieved best protection 12 hours after application (curing) so wouldn't evens something like that compromise the fresh paint's breath-ability?).

PS: That get together for Carroll's memory is amazing, looks like an absolute blast!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Too bad Ford doesn't offer a rear-seat delete for models other than BOSS, with the exposed cross-bars, I'D BUY IT.

You have to wait an hour for UPGP to cure, old formula stated you should wait 12, new formula 45mins-1hr. When you layer UPGP it gives a more glossy, glassy look like an M&M candy shell. After UPGP fully cures it begins to look better and better. You ever paint a room in your house and thought it looked Ok but then the next morning the paint and color looked great after drying. Same concept.

My Bud with the Roush Vert in the last pic just had the flames painted. I told him don't touch the paint with ANYTHING!. No glaze, polish, wax.......................ext for at least a month, he didn't listen. Not sure if there will be any side effects, but I was always taught don't touch for a month until the paint "gasses off" or "cures"
