You all are going to think I'm NUTS!!!!!

Sorry guys! I've been uber busy!! I love this forum, so many humorous and down to earth people! It's still looking like a Camaro SS. :D

How about "Flip-Flop Mark" for a new name?

Mark......the guys are prolly laughing at you and saying: "That was the cheapest detail we ever had done for us!".........as the salesman walks away with a pocket full of cash from the bet he made with the other guys to see if he could get you to detail it for free! :D

Hey Mark, I think the 3 day grace period is up, LOL! You seem to be taking all of this in stride and that's cool, so let me offer up this new screen name, FLOP FLIP!

Everyone has their own perspective on what looks good and what reflects their style. That's why we have so many different cars out there. Whatever makes you happy and feel good is what's important. The Mustang, Camaro, and Charger all have pros and cons, but ultimately are all super cars in their own right. Enjoy what you own and drive with pride!

Keep in mind I have a GT500.

Camaro Cons IMO:
Power
Interior styling and quality
Interior Room
Trunk Space
No Ford Sync System
Did I say Power

I don't know about your list there, but you forgot Exterior Design. That is not a good looking car.

I agree 100%, Enrique. The front end on the '13 GT's is very similar to the GT500. I initially wasn't impressed, hence, the 3-day grace period. I thought I may get used to it, but the more and more I looked at it, the less and less I liked it. If I could have found a '12 GT, I would have kept it. I was so intrigued by the 5.0, that was the majority of my decision on the '13, but, I also must like looking at my car just as much! The Camaro SS looks 10 times better than the '13 GT's, even of it doesn't get down the 1/4 strip quite as fast. Regardless, the SS still has 426 HP V8!

so the million dollar question is....did ya get the camaro?

I vote for staying in a Mustang. I just can't get into that Camaro SS. And I've been on the GM side of the argument most of my life. But my two mustangs have swayed me for good. Hell, just get a lightly used GT500 and hit the streets with swagger to spare.

I happen to like the look of the 13 and my 10 GT500, that is why I stated IMO. For me performance played a big factor in my decison. My GT500 makes 540 at the wheels with a pulley and a tune with no other mods. I played with a 12 Camaro SS a few months ago and it wasn't even close. I had 4 people in the car and a full trunk. We stopped at the same rest stop and chatted about the cars and mods.

If I based my desicsion soley on looks I would have got a Challenger SRT8. IMO that it the best looking at of all 3.

^^^^^^^
That can all change quickly (very fast)...[quite economically, I'll add]...by the addition of one of these:

Sorry guys, I should have made myself more clear. :o I was actually referring to the Camaro. I don't like the way it looks, at all. Everybody has different tastes and the Camaro just isn't my cup of tea. I have no brand loyalty when it comes to Ford vs Chevy. I like both brands and would shop both brands. My 2¢.

Doh! I feel dumb! LOL!

Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking when I bought the '13 GT. Actually, I kinda did, that's why I got the 3-day grace period. However, I didn't think I would end up disliking the way it looks this much! The nose and hood of the '13 are ugly! I was blinded by the 5.0! The 11-12's look MUCH better! I initially looked for a '12, but there was none left that met my requirements.

I'm waiting the arrival of a dealer trade, brand new 2012 Silver Camaro 1 SS, 6 speed, bluetooth. Can't wait!! :D
