What is a mold release wax? What does mold have to do with car waxing? Am I the only one who doesn't know this?
I think its mold as in molding parts...making plastic or fiberglass parts in a mold.
I used M16 on my beaters for years. I have a black door that i've used to test waxes on. While M16's durability is excellent, it does milk black quite a bit. P21S is much clearer. I like Zymol Titanium better than either though. With todays sealants, i would think M16 has no place. I would never use it on a nice finish.
I assume you don't understand what i mean by "milk". To test waxes, you start with a perfectly polished black surface(ONLY black works), put your waxes on and examine the squares in a UV light. Most will have a slight white haze as waxes are not transparent. I call this haze "milkiness" because it looks just like you poured milk on the surface. M16 is super milky and is just plain not acceptable on black. Just about any other color you will not see this milking although i could see it my red vehicleWhy not use 16 on a nice finish? Too much rubbing to apply and remove?
