Thinking about putting full length stripes on my '12 Mustang GT, what do you think? *PIC*

Are we ever going to see pictures of this alleged vehicle of yours? :)

Yeah Mark, you should post a pic of your car, the natives are getting restless, LOL!

A guy in my club put stripes like that on his. He is a sign guy and does alot of vynel stripes and wraps and stuff on cars. He says he would rather do them in vynl because if you don't like them after a bit, you can change them out and not hurt the paint. He only warns against using a carnuba based wax on them as he says that will dry them out.

Mark I think it's a great addition to a silver car, it dresses it up giving contrast to the silver and looks racy....:props:

Agreed. Looks great with the silver/black combo.

Are those after market stripes in the picture? Looks growling to me.

Here's a few quick iPhone pics. I've since added the California Special Front Lower Valance(attaches to factory bumper) and the FRPP GT500 axle-back exhaust. I just ordered the stripes. 20" wheels and lowering up next.

After those mods, she will be growling:laughing:

They look pretty good! Personally I wouldn't go with stripes that thick, I would between the stock GT500 stripes and those. Like a medium width stripe. Also, if you can convince yourself, I would get some painted on.. They look badazz:hotrod2: I can't convince myself to like the vinyl stripes, unless they are reflective!:coolgleam: Just like the ones from the classics, they all used reflective stripes. At night time, all you could see was the lines of the car and the stripe gleaming!

Mark,

For sure the stripes! I have silver with black stripes and the stripes def make a huge difference. As far as their maintanence goes I wax (Fuzion) right over them everytime. The

matte has not changed and theres never any streaking or hazing. Just throwing it out there. Good luck .

+1 on ultimatedetail, go with painted stripes. Bury them in clear not only looks better as a detailer youll appreciate the extr clear on the horizonal surfaces. Besides you'll never take vinyl stripes off. I personally like the stripes on the 2006 Foose Mustang. Yours are traditional and look better than no stripes. That's an awesome car. BTW in CA no license up front is a ticket able offense.

I've been driving without a front license plate for 15 years and have never been pulled over for that once. :knockonwood:
