With the 3401, I'd definitely use the Rotary LC MF pad.Just wondering what are people using with the flex 3401? da/rotary? Im thinking rotary.
As you mentioned, the 3401 doesn't produce near the heat of a rotary. I think the key here is the extra cushion of the rotary pads will provide a much smoother polishing experience with forced orbital action of the 3401. JMO.Thanks, kinda thought that. With the forced rotation producing a little more heat than other DA's figured it would last longer with the heat dissapating with the thicker foam core. Thanks again, you have some great posts also.

Interesting. He would know best. I'm just basing it off my experience between the Meg's pads and Optimum pads. The Optimum pads use a thicker foam backing making them more pliable and smoother than the Meg's pads with the 3401.The Pad Man recommends the DA pads:
