Menz Fast Gloss

I was looking at Menz line of polishes and saw they have a new polish that is coming out sometime soon. Has anyone gotten to use Fast Gloss or heard anything about it? Price tag is a little hefty which is why I figured I would ask here to see if anyone has any input? Thanks!

I have the FG 500, sitting here on my desk just to the left of my monitor and it does cut fast...

If it's possible, I think the Menz line has gotten even more confusing than it was. They now have removed the (chart) references as to which polishes are for "scratch-resistant clears" (Ceramiclear); those polishes use a different abrasive. It would seem that the numbering system they now use is more straight-forward, but it's not because there are still combined-step products like Power Finish, that is now PF-2500, but it has more cut than the coarser product, IP-2000...how is that making things simpler?

PS I do understand why their product line is so confusing--they didn't start out to make an over-arching, integrated line. They created products one by one to meet OEM or distributor requirements (like the discontinued FPII which I guess was requested by CMA when they were the exclusive distributor), so they overlap and it's hard to explain them.

I can't see it finishing better than PF2500...PF2500 doesn't require a follow-up polish according to the AG page, while FG400 does. My guess is it will prevent you from having to use both a compound and medium polish...in the same way that say M105 does...perhaps FG400 is a SMAT product?

Fast Gloss 400 will be the second most aggressive compound that Menzerna offers - right next to Power Gloss.

Fast Gloss 400 finishes very well for the amount of cut that it provides, but for those who seek an absolutely perfect finish (I think that describes everyone here ), you'll want to follow up with SF-4000.

Since I already have M105 as my compound would I even need FG 400 or are there differences to have one over the other?

As I sit now my 3 step is M105, SF-2500, SF-4000

PG 1000 (POS34 : S34A)---Cut: (8/10 : 5/5.0=?); Gloss: (3/10 : 1.5/5.0)

You already know this...(But I like to think out loud sometimes)
-M105 and FG 400 are both designed to remove 1200 grit, or finer, sanding marks...
-Meg's=SMAT; Menz=DAT

As I sit now my 3 step is M105, SF-2500, SF-4000

If you would want to go the All-Menzerna-Route...
-Your 3-Step wouldn't change all that much:

-And since your current 3-Step already includes both SMAT and DAT products...

It all boils down to: Your choice, it seems.

i am Menz crazy. i will not be getting FG400. i dont see where it will fit in.

I do find Pf2500 to wipe of the easyest

My 2c for what it's worth....

I tired out the FG400 on a detail a few weeks ago and was very impressed with it. It has really good cutting ability and finished off really well.
