What happens when I use an acid wheel cleaner on the interior?

I guess the word acid doesn't give up the answer.
 
we just got back from a road trip and it was horrible. My dog had an accident in the back because I guess he couldn't hold it anymore and it stunk so bad that it made my wife throw up all over the passenger door.... Now I got the worst car scent on earth and it makes me :mad:

Lmao! Sorry but I couldnt help it. I honestly dont know what to tell you. Maybe some vigorous application of an APC?
 
If you dont have a lot of experience you might have to find a professional to take care of the interior.

On the other hand do you have a Bissel little green machine. That might help you get started in the right direction.
 
APC!!!! And well, maybe something to kill the smell. Sorry to hear about this.

I can vouch for this product. It's the only thing I use on carpets and it leaves a pleasant lemon scent. Less is more though so don't saturate the area or it'll be hard to take out.

I just used some last night detailing my interior. I diluted 7:1 in spray bottle and spray onto affected area. Rub it in with a mf until the smell is gone and finish it off with a good odor neutralizer that really works like the chemical guys light orang or green apple bacteria

You have odor, top-surface "dirt" and embedded stains. If you look at this as 3 separate problems you should be able to do the best job possible. A soft brush, APC, pet stain cleaner and an odor remover will be your main products. If you have a Bissel like someone else mentioned that will help for sure. BTW, the pet stain cleaner helps with the odor and the "dirt" removal.

A pet stain cleaner will be enzyme based :dblthumb2:
 
One tip from pet stain experience - If at all possible, use the enzyme cleaner first. They need to sit awhile on the stain to effectively "eat away" the nasties, but using other cleaners first may render them ineffective. The harsh chemicals of traditional cleaners kill the enzymes before they have a chance to work.

I use Biokleen Bac-Out around the house (2 dogs, 4 cats) and it leaves behind a pleasant lime smell. However, the CG products mentioned earlier sound promising too.

Once the smelly bacteria funk is gone, you can just focus on the stain. Zep Spot Remover works wonders.
 
I would go down to your local grocery store and rent a carpet extractor. Chemicals and brushing will only get you so far. Use a high powered enzyme cleaner, that and the shear heat will pretty much kill all the bacteria.

I would make about 5-10 passes over the entire area your dog was. Then treat it with CG Offensive Odour Eliminator, that is an Enzyme cleaner too.

Avoid wheel cleaner acid, it could eat the carpet leaving a "shallow stiff" patch, making the area even more pronounced.
