Looking for a quality spray sealant...

Hope you enjoy your choice of sealant!!

If you get a chance:
How about a review?...
(Especially on the factors that you deem to be accorded to Blitz's durability, or lack there of.)

Thanks.

Okay, I'll do a little mini review after I use it. That will probably be sometime this coming week. I probably won't be able to say anything about durability because I'm constantly doing something to my car, lol. Once I wash it either tomorrow or Monday, I'll most likely be putting a 3rd coat of MPL on the paint and then I'll use the Blitz whenever I get it or after the next car wash.

Figured I'd give you a little "first impression" review of the Chemical Guys Blitz.

First of all, I haven't used it yet, possibly this weekend I'm sure.

It smells like a lotioned-up babe at the beach, lol. It's pretty thick stuff and sprays out pretty thick. If you squeeze the spray trigger too slowly, the Blitz comes out in a straight stream. It's a lot thicker than the Mother's Reflections spray wax I was using.

The instructions say to spray it on an applicator pad and wipe it on the paint, let it haze and remove OR just remove immediately. I imagine removing it immediately is the method to be used if you want it to be a booster over existing sealant, not necessarily a stand alone sealant. I'm hoping maybe I can try this stuff on my windshield, let it dry and haze and hopefully it won't wipe off with the wipers. I'll try that this weekend.

Once I actually use it, I'll reply back with a more in-depth review including how easy or hard it is to apply, etc.

Interesting note about the thickness - Mother's Reflections Spray wax is already among the thicker spray waxes that I've used - Blitz must be really thick.

whats the best spray sealant over opticoat? I heard non will last... true?

You don't really need them to "last" if you've got opti-coat.

I use V7 over my 22ple coating, but there is no way to know how long it lasts since the 22ple underneath of it beads water like crazy.

I've read great things about red mist and acrylic spritz from dodo juice.
V7 is a favorite to.

I was using the Mothers Reflections spray wax, but I stopped after a few uses. It smells like laundry detergent. Blitz's thickness probably has something to do with it being an actual sealant. It can be sprayed on and left to dry or just wiped off immediately.

As for using it soon, it will be a while. My car is going to the body shop this Monday for some cosmetic repairs. There's some cracking paint from a previous repair that my insurance is covering, but I told them I'm not going back to that original body shop, lol. They're the ones who messed the paint up and I asked them to fix it, but all they did was put touch up paint over the cracks like lazy bastards. So I'm going to a much better and more professional body shop who has fixed my car before. Plus I have rust issues... yes... on a 2007 Mazda3. They're going to check out the rust and see what they can do to fix it or whatever they can possibly do. So my car will be stripped of all the sealant that's on it now, I'm sure, at least on the side that needs the paint repair. I'm gonna tell them not to wash my car when it's done, lol. I'm super anal about that. Basically I'll tell them that I've done 10 hours of machine polishing and I've been maintaining it like crazy, so I don't want any new scratches or swirls to happen. I don't want to spend another 10 hours polishing my car. I'll go insane.
