TurtleWax Rinseless Wash

As far as what I add to my QD to make it feel slick its simple, when making a gallon I add 1 oz of Klasse sealant glaze, that's it. When I make a gallon using one of my spare TW rinseless washes though, I'm going to try 2 oz's and see how it goes, just to see.

WEll then do you think if I were to add 2 or 3 oz of a spray wax to it we might achieve that? I think I will have to test with a small bottle.

OH on that topic, for expiedance sake, how good is zymol spray wax, V/S megs, v/s mothers and the others?

You could give it a shot for sure, I'm sure this what the guy who tried putting KSG into his made up rinseless as a QD did, trial and error.

As far as the last question, no idea as I use QD's made up from rinseless wash for the last year and a half but surely someone will chime in soon.

Doesn't work well from my experience.

Maybe I used too much spray wax, but the end result was a product that had little slickness, and essentially turned into a diluted spray wax.
 
For a QD I put the entire bottle of TWRW into a one gallon jug and filled it with water.
Works perfect.
It was said here by someone but I forgot who gave the info but he was dead on.

One gallon of QD for 8 bucks:)

Yeah that would be me but I was just using the ratio for making a gallon of QD with other rinseless washes (I.e. ONR says 8 oz to make a gallon of QD), that's all.

I'm about to make my own gallon of TW QD but adding 2 oz of KSG, stepping up the protection by double the amount from normal.

Last night I did my car again and still amazed at how well it works.
I really spray a panel good with my mix then reach in my bucket, wring out the towel some, gently wipe it down the dry, so easy and gives me a nice shine, clean look.

Used it a few times, I inspected my paint, no issues:)

Well it says 4 oz to 2 gallons but if the car was just sitting and rained on and/or dusty from days w/o rain, I've used 3 oz to 2 gallons.

just bought myself two bottles this morning. if the rain stays away i will be trying it this evening.

Well to be honest, if you go by the directions, it takes 4x's as much TW rinseless wash, although on lightly soiled cars/just rained on, 3 oz of TW works fine. I must remind you this is TW v1, ONR is in its 3rd version, stay tuned!

TurtleWax Rinseless Wash. How I use it

I decided to load a video to YouTube showing how I mix the TWRW and my method.

Really helped me out during this paint correction.
Before I started polishing a panel I wiped it down with the RW

Quick question on this. I am going to pick up a bottle of this. I have a pump sprayer (64 oz from home depot) . But what would be the dilution ratio to use this a traditional rinseless wash within the pump sprayer?

Here is what someone (I think it was Klasse Act) posted about the Turtle Wax rinseless dilution ratios for various jobs:


"Anyone looking to try this for washing their car, here you go, looking to make up some QD, here you go, same with clay lube, can't miss!

To make 1 gallon of quick detailer:

1 entire bottle into an empty gallon jug, top off with water.

To make a good clay lube:

1/2 bottle into an empty gallon jug, top off with water.

To wash your car with it (dirty)

Use 4 oz per 2 gallons for wash solution

To wash your car w/ it dusty or light dirt

Use 3 oz per 2 gallons for wash solution"
