Thanks for looking

Nice to see you had the time to clean up your own car. Car came out looking very good of course.

I love G's. My sister has a 06 G35 Coupe and my Mom just bought a moonlight white 2011 G37x Sedan Premium Package last tuesday. I had to sway her away from a 2011 Lexus ES. The G is quite a machine. They Growl!!

It came down to a G35 Coupe or a 350z for me. The G35 Coupe looks NICE. However, I don't want a backseat, or, leather. So, the 350Z won out. I'm flying to Chicago on Tuesday to possibly buy an 08 350Z Enthusiast, manual, gray, with 14K miles. :dblthumb2:

Nice! But I think you will be back to a Z06 by years end. :D:thumbup:

Nice job and ride David. BL V7 combo is a good. Just did a black Acura Type S today with the same Combo.

Mark I hope you get there and it is in PERFECT shape and up to your standards! Both the G and the 350 are great choices. I really like Nissan/Infiniti becasue they make "Exciting" cars.

I've got an 06 as well! :) Mine is a 6MT, Sport bumper, Aero Pkg, Sport Handling Pkg, 19's, 4-wheel steer, Red over Wheat interior. Cannot buy one setup like mine now. No such thing as a 6MT with the Handling Pkg and Wheat Interior. Everything is black inside.

I was just the opposite. When I drove my first one I knew I liked the bigger car. It'd been a long time since Nissan/(Infiniti) had made a true 2+2 Sport Coupe like the old 300Z's. I mean I don't have a problem with the 350's as far as performance, although the materials (fit and finish) inside just isn't the same as the G's. Then of course I'm all about the leather, especially Wheat as it really opens up the interior not just making it where you can see everything but it looks bigger to the eye. That.... and I needed the tiny rear seats so on those rare occasions when it's more than me, and sometimes the wife, that I could throw a kid or two in the back. ;) (Now the kids are pretty much grown so the 350/370 would be more fun perhaps.)

One thing to look at wihen test driving them both is take a drive on the expressway where there are a long series of expansion joints. The longer wheelbase G soaks them up better, even with the stiff suspension it tends not to buck NEAR as much as the much shorter wheelbase of the Z. Just a better ride on the long roads while not really giving up any real performance. (Track days OTOH are better in the Z.) :coolgleam:
