So I purchased a new 2013 ATS Black
back in January and Have been dying to get my hands on it. The car had all sorts of wash scratches all in it. Before this car I had a silver CTS and I always took it to the hand car washes to winter washing.. Boy I never realized how bad they beat up the finish as well. I took it back to the dealer to get the paint Corrected.... Now that was a funny discussion but it had some wax on it to protect it until I could get to it.
I was just planning on correcting the hood this weekend well 14 Hours later I was closing up the Garage for the night. Though it was not 100% corrected it is very close but I had no idea how hard back paint would be to correct!! I used the following..
DA Polisher
Wolfgang Swirl Remover - Orange CSS pad
Wolfgang Glaze - Black/Gray CSS Pad
Wolfgang Sealant - Red CSS Pad
Topper = Fuzion.
I will probably wash and put another coat of Fuzion on it this weekend..
Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the dust down when using the Swirl Remover.. Man I swear that is the worst part :buffing:
