4) 3 inch lake country back plate
5) 3.5 inch lake country beveled pad pack
6) pinnacle ultra poly clay
7) pinnacle paint cleanser
8) Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba
That's basically it if any of you have suggestions or comments on any of these products before I purchase much would be appreciated.

Good list. Do you have clay lube? Don't forget your free sample also.

Looks like an excellent start to me!!!! Sig Series II is a joy to use and adds a nice glow! Let's see how long you can make it before your second order from AG. LOL

Haha thanks and I know right I have to wait there is more i would like to add to this list but can't spend to much money all at once I'm pretty excited to place the order this weekend.

I guess you are not planning to do any correction (just clean paint) since no polishes but see you are getting both 5.5-in pads (6) and 3.5-in pads.

I would add in the nanoskin autoscrub sponge fine grade. Some people don't like it but I love it. At $13 I think it's worth trying.

Good list for just cleaning paint.

Kinda strange why LC only makes the beveled 3.5" pads in white and red. :dunno:

Yea I know right I was looking all over the site to see if any colors were available but they do sell the hydro LC pads in 3.5.

I just emailed Lake country and asked them about this. I'll report back when I get an answer.

I ll have to read up on it I did see them but didnt look into them
I've used this clay sponge. Initially, it marred the crap out of the paint on a car I worked on. However, I tried regular clay a week later on the same car and it marred it, too. The clay sponge makes claying MUCH easier and faster, so I'll stick to the sponge for now.

Also a lot of my cars only have light swirl marks so didnt really have to go with compound or heavy scratch polish remover so just using a light cutting pad with mega ultimate polish since it has very little abrasives.

Start with the least aggressiveness pad and work you way up until you get the results you want. Do a test spot. :dblthumb2:

Yea sounds like a product that I wouldn't mind trying out but I'm going to try the pinnacle clay bar first plus the bundle I'm buying I think is 30 bucks and that comes with lube which ain't bad I ll just have to be careful I think what I might do is I read other ppl will sometimes wash there car but don't completely dry it so they will use the lube and what water is on the car so they don't run into the problem of marring the paint.

Great idea, stick with the pinnacle clay kit. I never dry the car before claying. After rinsing, I go straight to lube and clay. Make sure you're working in the shade to avoid water spots. The fun has just begun for you!
