Excellent job you did there. I was curious if he had any swirls on there? I imagine if you don't touch it at all the paint would be pretty good (beside the bird poop part).
You should have the moderators edit your post for you to say, opm's and not rpm's.
The first time I read the thread I scanned it and missed you were using a Griot's dual action polisher. I caught it when I said to myself, " I need to re-read his opening thread because there's no way he used those kinds of rpm's with a rotary...which when I seen the term 'rpm' a rotary is what I thought you used.
Nice job, by the way.
I'm never sure how people can let what is usually the 2nd biggest investment they'll make go to heck like that.
On the other side, you did an amazing job and it's hard to believe that is the same car. Even if the owner didn't appreciate it I (we) do. :dblthumb2:
Thanks for 'reviving' this thread Troy, you've done an awesome job.
That clay picture is almost 'ridiculous', really nasty!
Keep doing the nice job,
Kind Regards.
Superb job. I don't know if I'd have the courage to tackle a job that tough. You say it took 18 hours..... over how many days did you divide it?
