The Worst Car on AG - Trashed and Neglected, Washed 2 Years Ago - V7 Hybrid, Collinite Marque D'Elegance, Collinite 845 (Many Pics)

Awesome work!

I hope you at least got some Skyline out of the deal! :xyxthumbs:

Wow. Incredible job. I NEVER understood how someone can buy a car and never keep it up to an extent. I mean come on, all you have to do it drive it through a wash once in awhile. That's at least better than nothing.

Excellent job you did there. I was curious if he had any swirls on there? I imagine if you don't touch it at all the paint would be pretty good (beside the bird poop part).

You should have the moderators edit your post for you to say, opm's and not rpm's.

The first time I read the thread I scanned it and missed you were using a Griot's dual action polisher. I caught it when I said to myself, " I need to re-read his opening thread because there's no way he used those kinds of rpm's with a rotary...which when I seen the term 'rpm' a rotary is what I thought you used.

Nice job, by the way.

Thank you for all the great comments!

Thanks! The car was purchased used so the swirls I found were probably from the previous owner trying to clean the car. There were also some RID's.

I appreciate your feedback! I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Personally, I would never used a rotary- to risky for me as a hobbyist! But from what I understand, it makes the process faster...

I'm never sure how people can let what is usually the 2nd biggest investment they'll make go to heck like that.

On the other side, you did an amazing job and it's hard to believe that is the same car. Even if the owner didn't appreciate it I (we) do. :dblthumb2:

Dang, you actually made a toyota look good. Major props.

Looks good. I believe you are referring to OPM and not RPM if using a GG 6.

Thanks for 'reviving' this thread Troy, you've done an awesome job.

That clay picture is almost 'ridiculous', really nasty!

Keep doing the nice job,

Kind Regards.

Superb job. I don't know if I'd have the courage to tackle a job that tough. You say it took 18 hours..... over how many days did you divide it?
