Had a question about Inner Clean. When I mentioned the product, he didn't even know what I was talking about! I about hung up the phone at that point, but didn't want to be rude. He searched for it on the computer, read the description, then tried to answer my question that way.

SERIOUSLY?!?!?

Mark I would try sending an e-mail to or calling Greg Masterson. He would probably be your best bet to get the answer you are looking for.
I should have his card at home and I can PM his info to you later if you would like.

Gotta ask for the pros. Once he start searching I woul be like you know what? Get Greg on the phone please thank you.

Hey Buddy, thanks for the offer. I found him on FB and sent him an email.

Chemical Guys has product specialists that know their products very well. Next time you call ask to speak to someone that can better assist you with your questions.

Is t that the guy who said how "revolutionary" Lava is in its demo video. Don't know if I would trust him.

That's why I dont like chemical guys. dont get me wrong, they had some excellent products, and I still believe some of them are second to nothing. However most of time they just try to confuse customers with redundant products and totally overstated performance. and if you go to their official website, lots of their product descriptions dont even make sense. I am not surprise at all their customer service didnt know which product you talking about, because there are too many products harshly released into the market without justifying its purpose.

another company that makes a good contrast here is optimum. much fewer products, no redundant, all of them doing it's job and being the leading one in that category.

A bit unrelated but I just received their shampoo in gallon size and it came in the mail inside a plastic bag with the lid quite loose and shampoo everywhere. Most of it was still in the jug but I'd estimate probably 6+oz came out all over. I had also just received a gal each of nanoskin lube and megs apc+ from autogeek (chem guys came from amazon) and AG lids were tight and taped.

I find the descriptions of their products to be a little off, too. I really like their Maxi Suds II soap. Hell, it would probably be the one and only product I'd ever buy and use, but I also like their EZ Creme Glaze. Tried their V7 and it effed around with the MPL on my paint, so I got rid of it. Also tried their Natural Shine dressing, water runs it right off, wasted 10 bucks.

I recently emailed them asking about why V7 would interact negatively with the MPL, still no answer, and that was weeks ago.

I've ordered from them. I always think they pack excellent.

If I ever go there I usually know what I want ahead of time, grab them, maybe browse and go. I do like their towel selection I must say. Inner Clean too. Plus they'll hook up with freebies sometimes which is nice but not needed. Hopefully one day it'd be nice to visit AG too, see all the companies.

This. I called a while back regarding the Ecosmart Concentrate and the person helped me out really well. I had a Kwazar bottle leak on me that I picked up from their retail location. I called them and they sent me out a replacement.

Interesting - I've never had a problem with their delivery, customer service, or products. I'd def ask to speak with someone else though if I spoke with someone that was not familiar with the product.
