if you could only purchase one buffer which would it be ex: pc, flex, makita, dewalt.

Have never used it, but if only 1 machine I would take a hard look at this one:

Makita Bo6040 Polisher

Looked awesome till I read this :

The general rule is if your fingernail catches the scratch, you’ll need to do some compounding to totally remove it. If the random orbital setting is not working, just turn the machine off, turn the orange knob, and turn the polisher back on. The orbital motion with forced rotation will level the scratch until it is completely eliminated.

When did that rule apply?!?!?!

I believe because forced rotation is the heavy hitter, have to turn the machine off to switch modes between the two.

I want a rupes but cant afford, YET. So I ordered a GG that will be fine for now.

I finally go to try out my Rupes 21 today and boy was this polisher just simply amazing. From the moment I started using it I knew this was something I should have made the purchase a long time ago or at lease when it was released. The Rupes is so smooth but loaded with power and the correction ability was just amazing.

Now I was planning on doing a side by side test with the flex that I picked up but time started to get tight on me. I for one say that as of now the Rupes has been the best investment so far.

I have the 15 and the 21 and thinking I'm not going to need the 15 as I can just get the backing plate for the 15 and be fine so I think i will need to find the 15 a nice new home! :xyxthumbs:

I'd like to try the Rupes some day to compare it to the ones I now have in my stable...:props:

My favorite buffer is.... The right one for the job.

I have and use PcXP, Flex PE14, Rupes15, GG 3" mini. They all have and serve a purpose.

Oh go ahead Bobby, buy the Rupes. You know you want to. It's a matter of time.

Bobby says stable and a stable it is. Go ahead Bobby show em the pictures. LOL

Lets see...15...21....15....21....

You're going to get me in trouble!!

Realistically though I've heard you have to use only Rupes pads otherwise it will tear the standard foam ones apart....:dunno:

Yeah, when I saw that it made me decide against it. Now if LC come out with foam pads for it, I'll be in trouble. That 21 seems like a must have at that point.

BTW: I just bought a GG and a HF so I think I better sit back for a spell.
