Her ex gave me her insurance so I filed a claim, appraiser should be here shortly to cut me my check.
Now THAT is funny!
Never underestimate the anger of an EX!

This isn't a detail related question but I'm hoping someone here is familiar with autobody.
I didn't notice until yesterday but it seems as if someone backed into my car and drove away while I was at a store or in class. The soonest I'll be able to get an estimate and contact insurance is Monday. I'm hoping someone here can tell me if this can be repaired or if I'll be paying for a new bumper.

I can't ####### believe it, someone else hit my goddamn car yesterday and screwed up the paint job the dealership did. I know who did it, a friend of a friend whom is damn near broke. I got an estimate for $450 this time around, I am not filing another claim with my insurance company and if her new BF won't stop jerking me around with "I know a guy who can do it for $100" B.S. then I'm filing a hit and run report.
$100 won't even cover the cost of the paint. Does he think I'm a goddamn idiot?
Just so u know, if you click on this link u have posted it has some very interesting pictures on it. all pretty revealing of your personal life. Just wanted u to know. LMAO
Look for a bumper repair guy in your area. There are guys who specialize in this kind of work and often will charge half what a body shop does. They usually do used car repairs for dealers - even those with body shops - because the cost is less. I would google "bumper repair" in your area. If you find a good one, they can do an acceptable repair. The only way to get it perfect is to buy a new factory bumper and have a shop who knows really what they are doing paint to match perfectly. That would likely cost 5x what the "bumper guy" charges. Most bumpers can be repaired for under $250.
Um, YEAH!
