Detailer's Road Kill Bug Remover - The New KING of Bug Removers

Detailer's Road Kill Bug Remover is the solution to pesky bug gut remains. This fast-acting cleaner annihilates pesky bug guts before they cause damage to your vehicle’s delicate finish. If you live in a region that’s plagued by the infamous love bug, you’ll be able to remove them as well! Detailer’s Road Kill Bug Remover also works great on tar, road grime and heavy road films. Concentrated formula makes it a great value.

Surely your best friend’s college roommate, girlfriend’s uncle or co-worker’s wife has shared a remedy for removing bugs that involves some type of engine lubricant or driveway cleaner. Say no! Harsh solvents are best left in the garage for things like removing oil from engine blocks or lubricating squeaky door hinges. These high-octane cleaners cause more damage to your vehicle’s delicate clear coat finish than the bug guts do! Detailer’s Road Kill Bug Remover annihilates bug guts without damaging delicate finishes.

Benefits:
  • Safely removes bug guts
  • Works great at removing fresh tar
  • No rinsing required
  • Compatible with all shampoos to boost their cleaning power
  • Concentrated formula can be diluted 1:1 with water
  • Will not remove sealants or waxes
  • High-lubricity formula prevents towel-induced marring
  • Can be used on a variety of different surfaces

I am hitting the road today, going to grab a bottle to do a little clean up when I arrive at my destination!

this did catch my eye. looks like a great product. with the bug season in full swing, a giveaway of this product would be great! "hint"

Is DP Cleanse-All as safe as this on paint?

Did you use this new product undiluted?

It doesn't strip LSP's??????

What's the difference between using this and an APC?

I find OPC diluted 1:3 does a very effective job at removing bugs as well.

DP Cleanse-All is paint-safe, but removing bugs is just like removing swirls - use the least aggressive method.

Bug guts remove waxes and sealants, which is why you want to remove them ASAP. Once your wax or sealant is gone, they will begin to etch into the paint, causing permanent damage.

Detailer's Road Kill is formulated with certain ingredients that are designed to dissolve bug guts. While you can "remove" the bug guts with an APC, most of the time you're removing the wax/sealant as well. Not only that, APCs aren't formulated with the same ingredients that dissolve the bug gut remains, therefor it's very likely that you haven't completely cleansed the surface, increasing the chances that an etching will occur.

Choose the right product for the job. :props:

I was referring to road kill possibly stripping LSP's, but you answered my question. :dblthumb2:

That's what I'm here for Mark!

I know you would like this product very much. :dblthumb2:

I don't encounter many bugs driving around in Metro Phoenix. I think it's too hot for them. They all moved to Florida.:bolt:

During the course of the year, I have to make a few trips to Tucson, and I don't really pick up many bugs on that trip either.

So, the best way to eliminate the bug problem is to make it so hot and dry that the flying bugs leave. If we could only get rid of the scorpions.

I guess the bugs are smarter than we are. Even they won't live here.

Good to know. I was wondering the same thing.

Great review Nick. I just used some PB Bug Squash after a trip to the beach. Can't wait to see how this compares. :dblthumb2:

I'm sure Meghan gives Max the same excuse I give her - "I need this product for testing purposes." ;)

I have recently tried the Diamondite bug cleaner, now that stuff works. I have removed bug remnants from several vehicles and I love this stuff. It took off old remains that my old cleaner couldn't get off.
