I'm looking for a glaze

This is how it looks now.

I'm in need of a glaze
Yeah the paint is flawless

Are you sure this vehicle even needs a "glaze"...?
It's well taken care of but want a glaze to help maintain the shine and to use after hand washing.

I may be mistaken...
But that's not the intended purposes of a "glaze".

I'll often use 3M IHG, or Meguiar's #07, for an:
Added boost in "shine" (purely subjective, in most cases)...after polishing
and before the application of a dedicated wax/sealant LSP.

NOTE: It appears you've already sealed the paint though.
I sealed it with Griot's Paint Sealant.

Also:
For an after car-washing-session treat for a vehicle:
I'll use a "spray&mist" product for maintenance.

BTW: Out of curiosity...What product do you plan to use to "dress" the tires?

:)

Bob

I now use CG'S Super VRT.
Works well for me at a good price.

^^^Sounds good!^^^ :props:
(I used to use the original Adams-version of VRT)

What year is it? I'm pretty sure that the rav4's are not ss.
It's a 2008 model, I bought it new and always saw paint transfer to my pads.
I was told it was SS paint when I bought it.
Another way to make sure:
Check on the driver's side door-jamb for your paint code.
It'll be the number following C/TR: on the "build-tag/sticker".

If that number reads as:
-C/TR: 202...it's Black (SS)
-C/TR: 001, 1EO...it's Flint Mica (BC/CC)
-C/TR: 6T3...it's Black Forest Pearl (BC/CC)

:)

I'm with FUNX725 not share glaze is gonna do much. That paint is awesome especially for a DD.

Paint is flawless but wanting the best shine possaible.

Hey buddy...in my opinion , your good...

once you start thinking that it can get better , you leave yourself open to doubt
and you wont stop

Enjoy what you have

Mike

I have an 09 Rav4 and wished it looked like yours :applause:

Totally forgot about #7. Your paint is SS, hands down best glaze for SS paint is Meg's #7.

Your paint does look perfect but this might be what you are looking for.

Might bud has a 78 Vette with SS black paint and recently did a full detail. I told him about #7 and sent him Mike Phillips SS paint article utilizing #7. So he stripped the wax applied #7 let sit for 24 hrs, applied a tad bit more to remove and then topped with a Nuba. He loved the look and said it definitely gave a deeper, darker shine.

Thanks for the vote of confidence:xyxthumbs:

It won't shine like like for months IMO, no matter how well I take care of it so I was think of using an easy glaze, easy on, easy off so that way I can give it a quick boost of crazy shine.

I ordered EZ Glaze by CG'S last night, for months now

Man that paint is sick it's not gonna get any better. Polish shines and adds gloss. Wax and sealants protect. That's it.

Imo if you get too carried away with achieving even more out of ur already great paint condition, you'll disappoint ur self pretty quickly.

Btw you do realize as a DD no matter how good your technique is with washing/drying, you are bound to instill some sort of swirls eventually. It's a DD not a garage queen.

I do other cars besides mine, on the side I do about 2-3 per month.
So the glaze is just something that I'll need,I'll use it down the road on my car again.

You can't hold that great shine forever:)

You got that right , more so with this car, worst I've even seen as for as not causing swirls to the paint.

Drives me nuts, my wife just had to pick the black one. Lol

You can't hold a car swirl free forever either lol

A black light V7 combo or gloss works would work well.I have black hole too, PM Im sure we can work something out.
