In the past I've been using the white hybrid but....I don't need the cut and really was looking to amp up the gloss - besides, my Flex needed to stretch it legs. Not that the white pad is aggressive but the crimson HT or the black hybrid are just to soft for this purpose. Those are for spreading wax. This new yellow foam is squarely in the middle of the white and black hybrid pads and imo, feels a needed gap. The yellow foam is solid/firm feeling and because I'm not looking to "correct", I barely needed to apply any downward pressure. Speed set to 5 for 3 passes and 3.5 for 2 passes and the paint really popped. Clearly it's not just one thing but the pad was a pleasure and did the job with no effort. The Sonax 3/6 is simply a fantastic polish. Put all that together and results speak for themselves.
