Driving behind someone, what frustrates you?

Hey RedxRay, love that video but loved that tune even better, what is it? Also, the truck sounds awesome, what exhaust you runnin'?

When you are behind someone going 70 and then when you go to pass, they are suddenly doing 80.

This happens all the time when I drive in Indiana. I lost count of how many confrontations I had do to this. Maybe because I have Illinois plates. LOL But this always happens on the country roads.

Just to switch it up.... what do you do when someones riding you?? Like a punk kid driving eratically.

Me.... I emptied an entire bottle of washer fluid on this guy, which I felt great about since I was washing it when I got home :)

I just slow down and let him pass but if he keeps at just "goose it" a bit and get into another lane.

Short drive to the bank today reminded of this thread

Lady in the red car poking in the fast lane, I move to the outside and almost clear her as I have to turn left just up ahead. Side by side I crowd her a couple times hoping she'll think "whats that guy doing" and slow down opening up a hole. Not this time, wasn't to be

Couldn't be aggressive at all with the Harley in front of me... fun fun fun!

the road is a great place to play games.:applause:

Slow down, tap the brakes, switch lanes as he does to piss him off.

I've been reading these examples of "what's frustrating";
as well as the "corrections" being proffered (including mine).

Forget the stones...just give them a good lashing. No need for heavy objects :)

Everyone is guilty. Some are more..well more guilty

When (was) driving a truck, I'd let the trailer wheels 'drift' over the fog line a tad...all sorts of bad stuff goes flyin' back on 'em. They get back there and you can't see them, that will get 'em to back off. People just don't realize trucks have HUGE blind spots.

I 'the car', just keep in mind the idiot is back there in the event something may happen. In other words, I just think, "Damn'd fool."

I cannot stand impudent drivers who do not admit others on the road. I can't stand when drivers make the traffic jam because of their low speed.

So last night I was driving in the right lane on the freeway and noticed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the breakdown lane coming up behind me. Before he came up to me he swerved all the way to left and kept the hammer down, it was a Chevy Equinox. I thought about calling the cops but thought otherwise and the car was gone from my sight. So I get a little further down the road and see a pair of flashers going on the side of the road.....yep, the Equinox was one of them, completely smashed front end, the other car I didn't see any damage to, maybe they stopped to help out. I then called 311, then they transferred me to the local police and then the state police. I'm sure if I called right when the guy passed me if woulldn't have kept that accident from happening but I know this, next time I'm calling ASAP!

I hate seeing crap hanging under a car going down the road.... I just don't get how you are ok with wires, pieces of your bumper, etc. hanging to the ground as you drive down the road?

Silly CUV...

On my way to work today i had a Silverado with the Duramax gunning it and switching lanes like crazy, he for sure had an aftermarket exhaust as the thing was LOUD and everytime he would floor it, he would cover everything he passed in black smoke..

It's like really? So i passed him goodbye! :)

When this happens. I just slow down. (Always following the law) and I just let them pass on there merry way.

Tickets are to expensive, there is so many Detailing stuff I could buy in those 10 minutes of driving. IMO

I rather worry about the big things, than the little things life.

Just what I have learned

In the past 2 monthes I've actually called 2 trucking companies for one of their drivers flashing lights and tailgating me in CONSTRUCTION ZONES! I got the truck number, time and location and everything. I only do this when its an extreme situation, which these were! Instead of LOOKING OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES we need a campaign for construction zones and truckers driving habits! I know cars hang out in their blindspots and cut them off, I see it all day, everyday but my God, in CONSTRUCTION ZONES, WHAT'S BIG F'EN HURRY!

The best/worst one I have ever seen was a dodge intrepid going down the expressway when one side of the rear bumper fell off swung around and smacked the car right next to him, then continued to drive along dragging the bumper like nothing was wrong. I passed him as fast as possible before the bumper came off completely.

That's the best way to handle crazy drivers. Just let them get around you and stay the hell out of their way. I've seen many drivers pull stupid maneuvers like mentioned, and so many times I wish I could see them on the side of the road looking at their car all in pieces. That's probably the only way they'll learn anyway. People are in such a hurry to die faster these days.
