gotcha, yeah I kept searching and everything comes back to that. That the paint needs to burn to kinda match and make it less noticeable.

So I got bored of my stripes on my car and removed them. they are original and have been on the car for 2 years or so. So once I removed them I removed the glue that stayed on the car, but I can still see the stripes on the car. I gave it a wash, clay bar, and did a quick pass with orange pad...

Pictures that would help. I would recommend going with a headlight it. Keeps you safe and on track.

yeah pictures will help out a lot. As far as tape goes I usually use it for trip parts, windows etc. In other words if compund spreads it wont be that bad to clean up especially around trim parts.

so what process/steps would you recommend? which one would be the best bang for the buck. Im in the process of making an order and need it by this weekend so the sooner the better. I want to give it a shot. My gc chemicals are great but if I can save some time even better.

Stain is gone! What I did is used 2 microfiber towels, 1 to damp it with warm water and another to dry it. I didnt rub it too hard just nice and smooth, kept the microfiber damped with warm water and after 4 passes I liked how it came out.
