Kind of an old thread, but I think the answer might be what someone else here mentioned - wax. Imagine that - back to old school. A spray on wax, or maybe a new wax like the Gyeon Q2 Wax.

Looks great! How did you end up prepping the paint after polishing? Did you use Gyeon Prep or do a wash after polishing?

How does Pure compare to SiC? In looks?

Is polisylazane the same as SiC ? I don't even know what that is....hah...

If I want to ceramic coat my painted/clear-coat wheels which type of polish could I use beforehand? They only need to be lightly polished to kinda "clean them up." Would I use the most aggressive Dr. Beasley's? Since I'd be polishing by hand? NSP 150? Or the "medium" one - NSP 95? Again...

Can ISM 2.0 or ISM 3.0 be used by itself? Have you ever done that? Seems like a great one and done option, because it can be used on everything - including trim.

I've used Optimum Gloss Coat in the past, and have to say I wasn't super impressed, but I guess it was "ok." Now I want to LIGHTLY polish out my car - should I go with Gloss Coat again? Or do most new coatings just blow it away? I don't intend on polishing much, so maybe that's a case for...

Does anybody know if Gyeon Primer Polish stains trim? I want to remove Optimum Gloss Coat and put on some Mohs. Was going to use Hyper Polish, but thought it might be better to use Gyeon's Primer since I'm going to Mohs. AND, do you think Primer is enough to remove whatever Gloss Coat is left...

If you had to compare CSL to Opti-Gloss, which do you think would have more durability? I'm trying to decide between these two.

I've had this problem as well. My Optimum Finish is now like water. Shaking doesn't help. Haven't tried to use it in that state though.

Why do I even have to use a bunch of shims or adapters to use a 4" backing plate? (instead of the 4 3/8" plate). Can't they make one that attaches in the same fashion as the OEM plate?? Or a pad that fits the 4 3/8" OEM plate? Neither of the plates that came with my Flex 3401 are any good...
