2022 Toyota Venza Gets Gyeonized

My weekend project, polished and coated my wife's new 2022 Toyota Venza. It was polished with Sonax Perfect Finish and coated with Gyeon Mohs Evo. Turned out pretty good for a weekend hack!

“Pretty good”……it looks like a sapphire. Beautiful!
 
Looks great! How did you end up prepping the paint after polishing? Did you use Gyeon Prep or do a wash after polishing?
 
@bigez, I did a wipe down with Gyeon Prep after polishing.

Just an FYI but most coatings say don’t wash the car or use chemicals for 7 days to ensure the coating is able to cure properly. I’d probably put Prep as a chemical and would recommend against it in the future but you should potentially contact Gyeon and get their recommendation.

Im confused, it sounded like he did the geyon prep wipe b4 installing the coating...so i dont see the harm

I don’t know what I was thinking. I processed it as wiping down after coating for some stupid reason. I can see why you were confused when I was off my rocker. I did take a nap after that post so I’m much more coherent now as I had stayed up too late the night before dealing with an issue at work.
