I like either Collonite 845, DODO Juice (Velvet) or Nattys Blue - I use these on a black chevy avalanche and results are good - Nattys and Collonite are probably your best value
I have the same truck (z71 model) - found that collinite 845 works best and is really durable - also throw some on the rims and it keeps the brake dust from sticking. I use wither spray wax (Griots or Optimum) or FK in between waxings
If you have the plastic sails and covers - 303 works...
I bought some PB SSR 2.5 and 1 - I did a pass with an orange pad (2.5) and then a white pad (1) and then notices that both pads were red - I was almost certain that the truck has a clearcoat on it - is it normal that the red came off like this ?
So I do a lot of work in the fire house and spend a lot of time taking care of the trucks - obviously they are usually always clean and I have gotten the guys into using Collinite 845 which lasts for a long time given the rigs are garaged all the time
The question I have is has anyone spent...
Thanks Guys -
I tried the 105/205 once didnt work out the way i thoght it shoud (probably operator error as i was nervouse to ruin the finish ) - you dont think that is to aggressive? - want to make sure i dont take the clear coat off - btw only did the 105/205 once in the life of the car...
I saw that the Poor Boys Med Swirl remover is on BOGO - was wondering if anyone has used this - I have a Black Avalanche (DD) and it has some swirls (more spiderwebbing than anything else) - nothing to bad for a 3 year old car, was wondering if this will work well for my springtime cleanup...
I picked up some blackfire interior cleaner on my last order, went to use it today and it would not even spray. It completely clogged the sprayer
Has anyone else had this issue? Did I just get a bad batch?
Thanks for the advice - although fairly new to this I am suprised that compunding would not alleviate the claying step on paint that is that contaminated - do you have any suggestions on a more aggressive clay bar ?
