    Leather topcoat worn through, fixes?

Cleaned the Katzkin seat covers in my RAM earlier today and ended up with what looks to be a patch where the topcoat has worn through. There was no dye transfer, but once I saw that patch I didnt bother to try and make it happen. Just used Gyeon mild leather cleaner, agitated with a soft...

    Are you kidding me, dealer?!?

I made a do not wash sign for each window in my car, plus the steering wheel plus hanging from the rear view mirror. After the Infiniti dealer effed up my black opticoated g37, they deserve the signs. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Are you kidding me, dealer?!?

A dealer did this to my basically perfect g37 that I hsd paid to get opticoated. Swirled the hell out of the whole car. I made them pay for correction and reapplication of opti. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Detailing stainless steel running boards/side steps

I have a set of stainless steel running boards on my pickup. They have the typical black plastic step pads where people *should* step to get into the truck, but outside that is stainless steel. I want to clean and protect the whole thing...I figure the step pads are easy, whatever exterior trim...

For those using coating saver applicators

I agree. Just the fact it can conform to slight variations in the body shape is huge IMHO. Feels similar to using a round foam applicator when applying opticoat 2.0 but not grabby. Does it actually SAVE coating? Maybe. But to me at least it makes a good applicator for it. Didn't think of...

Ruined my Meguiars MF pads on first use.

I bought into the system when it was first released (to the public). It did come with its own backing plate, and compared to my previous backing plate the velcro was definitely shorter pile. So I changed over to their plate. FWIW, it seems to work fine on all other pads as well, so Ive just...

    Problem encountered with coating

This happened to me when I used Optimum Gloss Coat. most likely nothing to do with the coating, but I was using it in the fall, and by early evening when I went to apply the coating I started to see cloudy spots underneath it. I attributed it to the dropping temps causing condensation. Hard...

    My Rupes DIED!!

Samsung electric oven....... Baking element wire broke off it's connector then arced to the back case cover. Didn't trip breaker because the wire was such small gauge it couldn't carry 50a (required breaker rating, per Samsung) Will never even entertain a Samsung appliance again. Anyone...

Morning dew and coatings, does it matter

Yep I asked around here if one of those tents would be OK. I even have one with side and end panels to block as much as possible but was told it still might be an issue depending on overnight humidity levels. Self storage idea is one i didn't think about. Just not sure the minimum number of...
